I'm one of the Original Participants @ the FosterFTDNA project with tested DNA markers up to 67.
I use Find A Grave as a research tool to connect family members of Families related to my Foster Surname and related Surnames. Foster , Minnick, Markland, Davis, Combs, Markland, Myers, Rumbley Zimmerman, Orrell, Tucker . Also the surnames from my mothers side of the Family Braswell, Ratcliff / Ratliff, Henson / Hinson, Diggs / Degge, Myers, Pistol / Travis, Boyette / Boyet,Keen, others . My wifes family surnames Rice , Franklin, Wallin, Shelton, Tweed, Sevier , Chandler and others.
I believe in linking family members with the tools given to us in the Edit Tab Section. Many of my memorials are created by finding the burial Locations listed on Death Certificates.

I was just wondering how is the sutherland family married into the foster family?

Could I get memorial #150462421 deleted? I have created #162595517 to replace it
|Jo Church Dickerson||Elizabeth A. "Eliza" (Baldwine) Horne|
Thanks for the note re Elizabeth Horn's memorial and the Baldwin/Baldwine surname. I had not realized it was the same as Forrester.
I've added your note and a little note of my own about surnames to her memorial.

Hi Bill, got your message stating his wife is buried at Bethel? Maggie Penland Rice is not my memorial, she is linked to Alfred. I am still confused, don't know what you need for me to edit?

Bill, have received your message stating Mr. Rice is buried in Bethel Baptist. I don't understand where you got the info as
I took the pictures of his gravesite stone in our family (Hughey) cemetery. Could you explain?

Hi Bill Thanks for answering. Yes Dad's name was Eugene Williamson Foster. He was born on Daniel's and then Archie's farm in Lawrence county KY on April 9, 1926, and he passed away September 18, 2012. He is buried in Memorial Park on Military Rd. Zanesville Ohio
|barbara crowder||Daniel Foster|
I was looking on findagrave and found my great great grandfather, Daniel Foster. My Father was Eugene W. Foster, the son of John G. Foster & Viola M.Kelley Foster, the son of Archibold & Texas Alice Montgomery Foster, who was the son of Daniel & Mary Foster. I guess we are cousins. Is Daniel your GG Grandfather too?
My name is Barbara Crowder
|J C||Essie Jane Foster Bagwell|
I am curious as to how we are related. I am a descendant of Essie. She is my gg-grandmother. Thanks JC

|Tony Foster||Pinkney Foster|
I think that we have discussed this in emails, but I'm not positive. Some things that need to be edited on the page you created for Pinkney Andrew Foster. Bertha Lee Foster and Grady Landon Foster are not Pinkney and Lucinda's children. They are their grandchildren. Their father is Andrew Jackson Foster.
You don't have my great-grandfather list as a child of Pinkney and Lucinda. He was their next to youngest child, between Blume Finley and Andrew Jackson Foster. His name was Tilden Baines Foster. He is buried in Fresno, Ohio.
Pinkney was not wounded at Gettysburg on July 1st. He was wounded on July 3rd. This is what is stated on his Muster Roll. I have copies of a lot of his Muster Rolls dated anywhere from 1861 -1865.
I also have a copy of Pinkney and Lucida's family bible page that lists all of their children births and some of their grandchildren.
Don't mean to be so direct, just thought you might like to know.
