Burlington City Cemetery

Hi Junebug :::waving::: I've been trying to find Burlington City Cemetery in Alamance County. Is there a such place or has it been re-named or merged with another cemetery? Sandi

Thanks for letting me know about the previous memorial. I always search before creating a memorial but that will sometimes let us down. I have deleted the one I had created. Thank you for your contributions to Find A Grave.

Sorry for the delay in thanking you for the two pictures you took, but I did not forget your kindness and have finally gotten around to it. I am glad you decided to take close ups of the name tags in addition to the whole marker - sometimes those little tags are hard to read with so much information piled on them! Thank you for your time and effort.

Thank you for your attempted photo request at Alamance Memorial Park. I wonder if there could be two Samuel Rays buried there and the person who helped you just stopped when they saw the first one in their records. I am at a loss to explain how the name is so different on the stone they directed you to. I too, have my doubts that "Monroe Ray Sr." is my person, but will store your findings in my file for future reference.
