You're so very welcome. It's my honor to "mark the spots where Valor proudly sleeps". God Bless.

Hi - I am trying to find out a little more about where you got the info on William L Smith. He is my husband's 2nd cousin and we are hoping to find a photo of him.

Thanks very much. My wife and I met Lynderd's widow, Sarah, and his daughter Sarah Jane in Olney, Texas a number of years ago. Very nice visit with them and added a lot to the information we had. If we add anything to what you have let me know. I can send you a digital (pdf) copy of our Steenhoek family history book if you like.

Thank you for the transfer. Find a Grave is new to me and I am learning more about it every day.
Have others I would like to get transferred and will use the edit tab.

Hi Mr. Howell,
Could you please transfer the memorial for my Aunt Marie Theresa McDonough Sowders to me.
Thank you for adding her..
|Anonymous||Ewald Rudolph Proske|
Thank you for bringing to my attention the duplicate Memorial.
Yes, Ewald Rudolph Proske is an uncle. I am co-author of the Proske Family History book and would very much appreciate having his Memorial as one of mine.
If further information is needed, please advise.

Thanks again Al. You are the greatest! I have one more if I'm not imposing too much. This is about my foster grand-father, Porter Rawson. I haven't been able to find anything about his first wife, I believe her last maiden name Bailey. Also, his aunt, Carrie E Benson in Pacific Palisades, CA, after the death of her and her sister's (Ella Benson Craft #94900583, mother, Mary Cronk Nelson #39139420. The story, as I surmise, was that Carrie was single and took care of her mother until her death in 1919. I believe she took her inheritance and moved to Pacific Palisades. At one point I found her address in a 1940 directory, but nothing about her death and burial. Porter left Victor, NY after divorcing his first wife after an infedelity on her part. I haven't been able to locate her existance.

Thank you so much Al for your info regarding my father's first wife and my 1/2 brother's mother. I'll be forwarding the info to his children. He didn't talk about his mother's side of the family until his last days, so I know they will be thrilled with this knew knowledge. Also, to impose a little more: you seem to have so much of this info at your fingertips. I have been trying to find more info about Pleasant Issiah Parker #26559359, my great grand-father. All we know is his birth, death, and whom he was married to, Elizabeth Winkler Neidigk Parker #26559369. Maybe more will be available to you.

Thank you very much for the transfer of this family member to me.

Nora Lee was the first wife of my father, Mose O Parker. They had one son, Richard Lee Parker (nee' 10/26/26 and died and cremated 12/27/2007) my 1/2 brother. If possible, could he be listed on her find-a-grave post. Also, I have never heard of her parents W. F. Matthews and Alpha and would like to learn more.
My name is Kenneth Parker.
