Please contact me, via email, about any graves I have listed.
I will process transfer requests within Find A Grave guidelines. Transfer requests must include a valid email address.
Thank you to the other contributors for considering my multiple edit requests. I'm happy to provide documentation for each request. When possible, I consider providing complete, accurate vital records information for each memorial as critical to support, and enhance, Find A Grave's stated mission "to find, record and present final disposition information from around the world as a virtual cemetery experience."
Hill Family at Forest Lawn FYI - I put on several photo's today for the Hill Family at Forest Lawn. They look like they may be your Family. I also put on a couple that were not listed (unless I missed them), P.L. Hill, Sr and Mildred D. Hill. If they are family, I will be happy to transfer them to you. Thanks, Larry
Daniel Eugene Stover Thank you for adding and linking my father in laws sister's to him and his parents. My husband lost his cousin Thelma Stover I hope you will add her so I came to the cemetery she was going to be buried at today to look for other relatives and seen you added and linked them thanks again!
detective work Thanks, I really do get engrossed when linking the families together; 'the chase' of trying to make sure I have the correct records checked out before I do, can be v-e-r-y interesting----- especially when I run into the naming traditions that put several people in the same part of the counties with similar names; I've about lost count of how many William or Nathaniel Talley-s and Heath's there are ;-). Enjoy your Holiday. Edna
findagrave connection, finally Hi Jeff, I have been going through all of my back messages on Find A Grave an ran across yours May of 2013...I must have really been ‘out of it’ that morning; because I do not even remember getting it; let alone answering your request on changing the spelling of her name....Oh Man, bummer
Anyway, just to let you know Winking smile I finally got ‘Miss KItty’ attached to her son (his middle name also shows different spellings on Everett, etc.)from her first marriage buried in the Gethsemane Cemetery; but I couldn’t stop there (my husband always has teased me that I should get a detective’s license), I also attached her to her 2nd husband (Mr Aubrey Hay Atkinson with his first wife, Alice)---tracked down what happened to her first spouse and his newer wife(Mary Fannie Croxton) and added that information also...2nd wife remarried to a man with the last named of Paul (his first name has been spelled several ways including Ducalion---someone’s mother or father liked Greek myths, I bet).
You were right about the spelling of Mr Richardson’s first name; I found that half the time it was Phillie and the other half it was Philip....One of the weird things I ran across was that ‘Miss Kitty’ told the people that filled out the Marriage License to Mr Atkinson was that she was a Widow and not Divorced from Phillie for desertion---the kicker was that she married Mr Atkinson 2 days before Phillie really did die...
!The things one finds in ones family trees!!! Makes everyone more interesting, I just love it...
Again, sorry to take so long in getting back to you And thanks for making an exciting chase for me yesterday; (am just waiting for the admin people to process everything that I requested in EDIT)
RE: Lucy Ellen Boulware Hi Jeff, I went back and checked and where I *thought* I had proof was just other people's unsourced family trees. Drat. I know there's a family Bible out there somewhere but so far I haven't seen it, and that timeframe is really bad for VA death records. I could have sworn I had it documented with the VA Death & Burial Index, 1853-1917, but can't find a thing. Guess you'd better just leave it as it was.
RE: Martha Jane Fleet Bowles I checked out your "cousins" in your virtual cemeteries. I can't figure out our actual relationship, but some of your first and second cousins are also my first and second x several times removed.
