Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a retired lawyer, age 82 in Oct 2014, on Chicago's North Side. Interested in the genealogy of Meigs County, Ohio and Braxton County, West Virginia. I will readily transfer graves that are not my immediate family, and am eager to transfer graves to younger Findagrave users before I become a memorial.

Hi Ronald, I saw that you created the memorial for my great grandparents Glenda and William Persinger, and you transferred the memorial to Sharon Curry. Just wondering if you are related to them? Thank you

Mr. Decker,
Thank you so much for the correction and information on John Francis. I'm sorry it took me so long to fix it, I had a baby! :)

RE: Transfer to You
Mr. Decker,

Yes, I would gladly accept any memorials you would like to transfer to me. My Find-A-Grave number is 46921687.

Here in Wood County WV, I have restored many abandon cemeteries. I maintain all the ones I have restored. I also make signs
for the restored cemeteries so they will not be forgotten.

I'm a veteran and when I come across a Civil War soldier’s headstone that is missing, damaged or worn away, I apply to the VA in Washington and
get a brand new marble marker and install it.

If there is anything else I can do, let me know.

RE: Ross Family, Adamsville, OH
Hello Ron,
I am not related to the family at all, since you are I would be happy to transfer my memorials to your care. My goal is to only hold memorials of my own family. But if you do not want the transfers I will be happy to accept your transfer to me, until another family member request to care for them.

RE: Adamsvill Baptist Cemetery
Will gladly accept any transfers. I am under 60 and my son is going to take over for my when I am gone. I hope some day to return all memorials to their families care.

Take care and God bless you for thinking ahead.

Transfers in NE Muskingum
I just noticed you also transferring some to Renee in Adamsville Baptist. Any she does not want I will gladly manage as well as any others in NE Muskingum. I'm 63 going on 80 but will hopefully be around for many years to come. My family were the caretakers for Adamsville Baptist as well as owning the Funeral Home that buried many of those there and in neighboring cemeteries for many decades. I feel my family still has a responsibility for them even if it is virtually!
