If you write PLEASE indentify yourself with findagrave. We usually DELETE anything from people that we don't know.
We will gladly add or delete anything that you desire. Our memorials are meant to HONOR the person who passed away, and to leave a record of that person's life, so that those who follow can access the information.
We encourage you to use the "virtual cemetery". You do not need to OWN a memorial to use it.
We transfer according to the findagrave guidelines, but please ask. There are exceptions.
THANK YOU to all the good people who work so hard to make this an exciting and usable site.

Thank You for your response, but what I was trying to explain is my ggg grandfather Henry VB is not buried In Ionia Michigan and never was. The Liber Book at the cemetery does not contain his name and he is not in an unknown grave. Regardless of poor people and unknown graves names were kept in a Book as to whom is buried in the cemeteries. I thought maybe you could give me something more than what the Liber book has recorded, as no such entry. So who is responsible for putting him on "Find a Grave" in Michigan? I would like to contact them about this info. My Cousins left Michigan from their vacation and said they could not find any evidence of a Burial in the Portland Cemetery. I would like the name of the party who posted this? Happy Holidays! I Thank You for all of your help and hard work you both do. Elizabeth
A very belated thank you for transferring his memorial to me. My apologies for being late in the thank you; I hadn't received a notice that it was transferred and just looked today. Thank you again.

Hello and Happy Holidays. I wrote to the Portland Cemetery asking for the plot # and location of Henry Van Buren's Grave? He is the Husband of Betsey Vader Van Buren b.1813 she died in 1896. I was told they only had listed in their liber Books info on Betsey. Need your help! Can you give me the Plot # of his grave. There are many relatives also who would like to know the number of the grave that are going to visit Michigan soon. Thank You for your help. Elizabeth
|KASSIOPEIA||Dr Martin Salia|
If there is any information you would like added to Dr. Salia's memorial, please feel free to send me a SAC request with the information you would like added or if you would like to write a bio for him I'd be happy to add it to his memorial and note that you wrote it.
The information you're adding to tokens will just disappear as more flowers/tokens are added and we want the information about his life where everyone who visits his memorial can read it and not have to go through the pages of flowers/tokens to get to it.
I was tired last night. I think I typed the wrong date. Use what is on the stone. :) Jamye

Hello, Theron & Helen Smith.
I want to thank you for the memorial you made for Shirley A. Clapham Ciuca. She was my mother-in-law's sister. I remember when she married Primo Ciuca and they came to visit in Virginia. Shirley was walking on air, she was so in love with Primo. He made us great Italian meals when he came to visit, they were just so happy. Everyone was so happy for them.
Do you know where Primo's remains are? I know he died Nov. 28, 1987 in Gladwin, Gladwin, Michigan. Maybe he was cremated also.
Thanks very much for transferring my stepmom's (73724204) memorial to my care. I appreciate it greatly.
