|Scott Sutherland||Eleanor I. Sutherland|
Been doing a bit of searching lately, and I posted a couple of photos of my cousin, Dr. Eleanor I. Sutherland here. My Grandfather Donald Sutherland, and her Father, Dr.James Sutherland were Brothers. Trying to put together a Family Tree, and looking to find information on my Great Grandfather Hugh Sutherland, Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada. Thanks, Scott Sutherland email@example.com.

One never knows. That mausoleum was then (1929) about six years old, but the numbering system has such a set pattern that it is possible, but not probable. I've been working it for several years, and know some of the old timers there - and hear lots of stories. The numbers run from the basement to the top, with the double letters (AA in the case of the Sutherlands) on the uppermost floor.
If you ever should come to Long Beach, it is a must see place. The longest (tallest) Foucault pendulum is in the building. The stained glass window near Sutherlands is typical of the 'lesser' beautiful ones there; many are quite elaborate throughout, all done in lead and imported glass. Would cost a fortune to replace it today. The building has survived many So. Cal. earthquakes; it's built like a fort/castle. Anyway - happy to help. Best - cb

You're welcome. Note that the location for them is different from what you provided. I couldn't find them Saturday. The location is the top floor, 5025AA.

I see you added all the information for my great grandfather and grandmother. Is this something that you just do or are you related?
