Grateful for the time you spent to help me - a complete stranger! Good picture and contained info. about her husband and his war service I didn't know. Thank you. Charla
Thanks for adding some grave stone photos for me.
I didn't have photo requests for them, but would have made requests.
So, it was nice to see a few already had photos added.
Have a great day!
|David P. Wilson||Sullivan linking request|
Hello. I received your linking request for John P. Sullivan to John Patrick Sullivan, Jr., and, although there's a chance it's a right connection, I saw the other hour that "my" John Jr.'s father died in 1920, supposedly in Canada, where that family was from. Since it's presently not definite enough about who the John P. Sullivan buried in PA was, I think it will be the safest bet if I don't link John Patrick Sullivan, Jr. to him, only because it's better to be safe than sorry, and at least if they're not linked electronically no harm's done one way or the other, whereas if they are, and it would wind up not being correct, then it'll eventually confuse others that see it, and it'll be me who added that linking, thus me who caused the confusion and error. So, because of those reasons, I'll decline linking the two men at this time, but will see if I can find anything more definite about my John Jr.'s father, to determine whether he was someone who died in Canada in 1920, or if he was the gentleman who died and is buried in PA in the same cemetery as John Jr.'s 1st wife. At the moment, John Jr. father is seeming more likely to have died in Canada. Know that I'd like to link the two men, and that I apologize for declining, but think, under the circumstances, it's best if I err on the side of caution. I realize that I'm who told you earlier that I believe the PA man is the DE-buried man's father. Now, a few hours later, I'm not feeling at all confident that that was necessarily the case. Wishing you a good day. Best regards, Dave Wilson, Seaford, DE
