Thank you to all the researchers who have told me that my work has helped them in some way. That is very important to me. I hope others who are able to take pictures and/or catalog cemeteries in the area where they live will do it. This is what this site is all about. Sharing with others who can't travel all over the country getting their family information.|
I love getting corrections, transfers, and link requests, but PLEASE DO IT FROM THE MEMORIAL PAGE as it is so much easier. It gives me all the info I need.....along with your request, of course! I will not do requests from the public message page. I am much too busy to look up the memorial to make the changes for you. DO ALL REQUESTS FROM THE 'EDIT' LINK ON THE INDIVIDUAL MEMORIAL PAGE!
Also, I've had quite a number of requests from people who think I also do free research. No, I don't. I take headstone photos and try to make sure cemeteries are complete and online. I have other hobbies. I don't do paid research either.
Happy Hunting, Kathy

|Friends of Rocky Versace ||Becks Lutheran Cem, NC (1LT LS McCants (MIA))|
Kathy, You took pictures of Becks Lutheran Church Cemetery near Lexington, NC. 1LT Leland Stanford McCants III is a Vietnam War MIA. He is SUPPOSED to have an "In Memory of" stone in that cemetery. His father, Leland Stanford McCants Jr. (1914-2016 - buried in Arlington Nat'l Cemetery)), was a USAF officer and MIGHT'VE been stationed in NC when his son became MIA on 30 Dec 1968. BOTTOM LINE - looking for a picture of 1LT McCant's "In Memory of" stone, if there is one, in Beck's Lutheran Church Cemetery. 1LT McCants F-a-G Memorial # is 132844797. Many thanks, FoRV

Kathy, thank you so very much for the change of the cemetery for my cousin Ivan (Gene) Berry. It is really appreciated.

Kathy, we had a "Berry" family get together this weekend. I asked Gene"s brother why he was buried in the Jackson county Sunset Memorial Cemetery. He said that he was buried in the same cemetery as his father (my uncle) William Elton Berry. I noticed that you developed Gene's brother William Jr too. could you change the location of Gene's grave to the same as his dad and brother (family). Thank you so much. Ruth Groesbeck McDowell

Thanks Kathy for the info. I will see if I can find someone in the Find A Grave community to go there and photo whatever is there. Thanks again, Allison

I noticed the memorials you created in the Merriss Lot of William Merriss and his family. You mentioned a Rev War Memorial in their lot. Are there any stones for any of these people? Just wondering since there are no photos. Thank you, Allison in North Carolina

Thanks so much for the transfer! Tracking down all her family members has been challenging, but fun. I appreciate the picture of her memorial marker, too. Have a great day!

Hi, Kathy. Let me assure you we have no controversy regarding the parents of the Samuel Craven at Abbott's Creek. I am in complete agreement with rcrotwell, and the links to the proper Daniel and Mary Craven have been submitted to you through the edit link.
