I just wanted to say thank you for the work you have put into this. I was able to go back to my 5 times great-grandfather.

Thank you for the added information; corrections have been made. After researching the family I realize you have done a great honor by connecting the members of these American patriots. May God Bless your work and this family.

Hey Rich, Pardon the blank message. My cat strolled across the keyboard and hit "enter".
I have added the info and tied them together as U provided, I think it's right. If not, and U appear to be a relative due to the surname, let me know and I pass the memorial over to U.
Thanks for the info, James Coston

|Roger||RE: Relation to Lemuel Garrett|
Letting my subscription to Ancestry run out. Been doing Family history for a number of years now. The Garrett's are one of the more interesting sides I have explored. One decsendant of Lemuels suggested he lived through the war and was too ashamed to come back home and stayed up North, till I found his grave in Savannah just as his record showed. I didnt know he was at Point Lookout, I just thought he was Elmyra. I've been to Issac's grave but havent got to Warrior Creek, SC yet. Glad to meet another cousin.
