I was born in St. Mary's Hospital in Roswell, Chaves County, New Mexico January 9, 1964 to Dudley Parks and Margaret Mae Underwood. I have 5 siblings, Linda Marie "Cole" Hernes, Judy Katherine "Cole" Shanks, Dale Eugene Parks, David Glen Parks and my twin Paul Ray Parks. I graduated from Goddard High in 1982, and got my Electronics degree from TVI (now CNM) in Albuquerque, NM in 1993. I worked for Intel Corporation from July 5, 1994 to July 30, 2007. I have a significant other who's name is Lloyd Michael Romero, born in Roswell, NM August 12, 1960 to Lloyd Romero and Dolores Garcia. We have been together since September 12, 1985 (28 years and counting).|
I am a Harry Potter fan but nowhere near that of how much Lloyd is. My favorite movies are Harry Potter (all to date), Indianna Jones Trilogy, Star Wars Trilogy (The original), The Wizard of Oz and Brokeback Mountain.
I have been researching our family lineage using ancestry.com under the family tree title "GaryWayneParks".
I would like to say thank you to everyone who has left and/or will leave tributes to those in my family who have passed. It means so much to me and mine. God be with you and your's.
You can visit Lloyd's and my genealogy homepage.

I just wanted to say what a nice bio you have on your Find A Grave page. It shows how much you care about your friends and family.

Hi, Gary. I'm your 4th cousin. My great grandmother was Frances Chastain Hickerson. You and I share the same 3x great grandparents, Joseph Carlton Chastain and Elizabeth Nicholson. I descend from their son, Edward James Chastain (Frances' father) and I was able to determine that you descend from Joseph and Elizabeth's son, Madison Chastain. I see on your profile that you have a family tree on ancestry.com. If you are interested, check out my tree there, the Hickerson-Martin Family tree. I have a lot of information about Frances and her father, James Chastain. Frances is buried in Pawhuska, OK. I've been to see her grave. But, I have never been able to determine where her parents, James and Louisa, are buried. They're probably somewhere in Arkansas, where they spent most of their lives. Maybe at some point I'll be able to locate them. Just wanted to drop by and say hi.

Thank you for taking the time to look.
I was trying to resolve another member's unknown burial site memorial by finding the grave site.
95% of the time the husband and wife are buried next to each other with a double marker.
We gave it a good try, didn't we!
|Kristina S||RE: Hello Kristina|
Thank you so much. I means a lot to me. I appreciate all you did for the memorials.

I was wondering if you were not a relative of Jesse C and Yuma Z Anness buried in South Park Cemetery in Roswell, NM would you mind transferring them to me. They were my Grandparents. Thank you, Kristina #47344331

Gary, thanks for thinking of me. All is well here. I left some flower notes for your Mom and dogs. I appreciate you thinking of me. David

Ohhhhh, okay, got it! I got a little confused at the different "comments" on Raymond and Margaret's pages, and I didn't think Linda checks her profile her anymore (last thing I saw on there was in 2010), so that's why I accidently made the assumption that you were the other Gary. Lots of similar names, sorry about that.
Eino is actually my grandpa. My dad's name is David, and my name is Alina. =)
I just added some new Hernes relatives here tonight and also sent requests to other people to see if they'd let me manage the pages of some others, since they are my grandpa's siblings. I just want to be able to link everyone properly and "write" some bios and add photos, if I have them.
Margaret and Martha both called me Shirley Temple and it always made me laugh.
Thanks for writing back so quickly. Have a good weekend!
