Bertha Wicks in Brasheras Cemetery
Hi Bill,
I work with the Madison County Genealogical & Historical Society and I would like to request a transfer of Bertha and Willis Wicks, both of whom are buried in the Brashears Cemetery in Madison County, to me.

I was asked by a local resident who lived by them when she was growing up, to research this couple. Bertha's obituary stated that "there are no known survivors" however Bertha was from an established German family in Missouri and had 8 brothers and sisters and many, many nieces and nephews.

It appears that her German family has no idea what happened to her now where she is buried; and information points to the fact that Willis may have kept her from contact with her family. Evidently Willis claimed to be a Warlock and everyone said he was very weird and scary.

I'd like the transfer to me so that I can post their obituaries on Find-A-Grave; and also make the family "links" to her father and mother and siblings.

Joyner headstone in Blytheville Elmwood
Thank you for posting this photo. There used to be a DAR marker by my mother's grave. I guess it was stolen.

Christopher Schuler Grave Photo
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit Christopher's grave. He left a lot of aquaintances on the East Coast when he passed away and the picture you submitted will make it easier on those who have been unable to visit his burial site in Arkansas. You have no idea what a tremendous help this has been.
