James Towler Whitefield
My family tree has a James Towler Whitfield without the "e". The memorial 38348335 has him and the cemetery with an "e". Do you have any info on the difference?

Hi Jean, I have no information on Robert. Someone went to the cemetery and took photos, I put them in Findagrave. If he is related I will transfer his headstone to you. Vicki

RE: Oscar HUEY
Jean, I'm not related and I would be happy to send him to you, but you haven't given me you Find A Grave number. If you go to the memorial and go under edit and follow the directions then I can transfer for Oscar to you. Thank you. Joanne

RE: Whitfield
Yes, I am. William F. Whitfield was my great-great grandfather and Mary Whitfield my great grandmother.

Glad I could be of help! It's often easier to track down than up and I was glad to find George. I don't know that we will ever get any further back than his father James. One young man showing up in a frontier town alone... even his children didn't know where he was from. The Stum family, on the other hand, is more promising.
