Please submit any additions, corrections, biographies, family links or requests for transfer to me under "EDIT" and "SUGGEST A CORRECTION" on the memorial site. Due to email messages going to SPAM or JUNK mail, if you don't use the "EDIT" tab, your request will probably not get processed.|
My interest for genealogy started 30 yrs ago and hasn't waned. The main area of interest is NE Kansas, but has spread elsewhere due to the expansion of family to all parts of the country.
Transfers for memorials outside of FAG's guidelines will be considered, unless they are within my family. Please include your relationship with your request! If relationship is not included, the transfer will not be made. Please use the "EDIT" to make your requests.
Thanks to all the volunteers for finding gravesites and photographing them for me. I am happy to try and do the same. Please feel free to use any of the gravesite photos for your family history.

|Karen Tobo||another Welp sister|
K - B, I'm adding the Welp family to WikiTree in an attempt to connect a cousin to the global family tree there. It looks like the Welp family (siblings of # 34855140) had one more sister who was a Sister. Margaret appears with the family in two census records, and then in St. Paul along with Teresa:

I would have liked to have known him too but I was just shy of 3 months old when he passed...

Great response. Thanks. After the war Father Busse was preaching at a church my mother used to attend in Detroit. I believe he was a friend with my late uncle Ray who was killed in action during WWII on the Island of Attu (Alaska) where Father Busse also served.
My late mother named me Julius Busse Carey for that reason...

I was named after a hero from WWII. Chaplain Julius Busse, U.S. Army Chaplain Corps, won the Silver Star & Bronze Medal...

Can you change the spelling to John, so those searching can easily find him? Also, there is a picture at http://www.beckerdyer.com/book-of-memories/1942985/Aspinwall-John/service-details.php
Could you add it also?

If I send you an obit using the Edit tab for George Hanson, Find A Grave Memorial# 55492424, will you post it to his page?
|Jim||Mount Calvary Cemetery - Atchison, Kansas|
Hi there: I just discovered a number of your memorials, at Mount Calvary Cemetery, for a group of relatives that I have just identified. I am wondering what the source of information was for those memorials that don't have headstones that otherwise provide it. Specifically, your memorial for Rosalia Heinz (54225910), who I believe was my 3x great-grandmother, had her dates of birth and death but no photo. Can you tell me if there is some sort of cemetery database, or other resource, for Mount Calvary? I did upload an old photo that I had of Rosalia's headstone, and the dates matched perfectly... the photo was found among some very old family treasures, years ago, so I'm not even sure that the stone still exists. I would be grateful for any leads on how to obtain local Kansas death/cemetery records. I am in California, and am unfamiliar with Kansas cemetery research. By the way, are you related to the Heinz/Kaupa/Dobra/Vogt folks buried in the Atchison area? If not, I will submit transfer requests for at least a handful of the most direct ancestors in the group. Otherwise, I will continue to submit edit suggestions, as I have already begun to do, through this system. Thank you for keeping care of these memorials! Jim
