What a great feeling to help others connect with ancestors. And often the reward comes in being able to meet new relatives online as well. If I have entered your ancestor and you wish to manage the memorial, send me a request via the "edit" tab. I am pleased when that can happen. I am glad to update or add information and make corrections to what I've placed on memorials as well. While it's good to use the "guidelines" for management, I do not consider this a religion. Be kind to others as life it too short to be nasty with one another. And feel free to use any photos I've taken of your family's stones on your other projects.
Thank you for letting me know that somehow some of the edits I forwarded have been deleted. I assume you mean edits sent through the "Suggest an edit" option which were written out.
I ran a search of my mails, and I see no surname Claar edits of this type. If these were edits for Claar women who married persons of other surnames, I would not even know where to begin to look as I am not related to this family. I am sending the info as I discover it only.
Oh well. I do appreciate your honesty and thank you for your message and your offer to assist.
RE: Whited family Somerford Cemetery Thank you so much for being the caretaker for the memorials. My parents are Leo & Althea Whited, and Mike is my brother. I'd love to be able to edit their memorials. I'll also sponsor Mom's & Dad's and will try to do that this evening when I return from a day full of work meetings. Your kindness is very much appreciated.
