Retired military and living near Antietam battlefield. |
IF YOU NEED FAMILY LINKS MADE, PUT YOUR REQUEST HERE. MY EMAIL ACCOUNT HAS BEEN EXPERIENCING SOME ISSUES. THANKS
If I have added a family member or a good friend, I am happy to transfer memorials. I am not bothered by F.A.G. guidelines in transfers. I am concerned about getting family members "back together." I DO transfer distant relatives since they SHOULD be with family.
I am also happy to transfer memorials of close friends as well as family.
REMEMBER, these sites are in memory of someones' ancestors. If you place a photo on a memorial, make it good enough that you would be happy with it on your own.
All men die...not all men really live.
I am looking for Charles & Flo Liddington. Flo died in 1972. Charlie was alive in 1974. They were my mothers' mother & step-father.
I believe they lived modestly within a half hour of Danville, PA. Also,
I am also searching for any info regarding the roster for the 33rd or 34th Battalions of the Maryland Militia. An ancestor I am searching for, Thomas Mock, who served with this unit in New Jersey in 1777 under George Washington. He had a wife named Sarah and parents were George & Catherine Mock. They were from "SUPPOSEDLY" living between Sharpsburg and Middletown, Washington & Fredrick County, MD.

Hi I mistakenly added a grave for Elizabeth Duffy; It was assigned 175437307 AND she is the same as your Elizabeth Duffy 67531067. I can delete my addition or you can delete yours to get this correct. Note that I added a plot location and information about her husband. If you could delete yours it would give better data but, up to you. thanks, Jack

On Dec. 13 I sent a sentence to be added to her memorial under bio. Did you receive it?

Hello. I've been researching my Beach line and had a question about this Benjamin Beach. I was curious where you learned about his possible family ties. Was it through the cemetery records?
|Denali Rose||Reformed Church Graveyard, Greencastle, Franklin, PA|
Dear Birdman; are you in charge of the informational page for the Reformed Church Graveyard in Franklin County, PA? If so, can I get the Graveyard transferred to me? For the last year, I have been working on the graves, mapping, and transcribing the graves in this graveyard. The Reformed Church; now the Grace United Church approved of my work and I would like to get all the gravestones entered and remove the find a grave incorrect memorials that are not in the cemetery.
My mapping of the graveyard is almost finished; I have divided the cemetery into 6 Rows and 12 sections and then numbered those graves in the defined squares. I would like to add that map to the Graveyard site.
I will go through all the photo requests that are outstanding and fulfill those requests if the graves have been found. So far, there are over 330 graves in the cemetery and I have identified about 2/3 of them. I have also found about 4 Revolutionary War Veterans, 4 War of 1812 Veterans, 6 Union and 1 Confederate Civil War Veterans. These numbers will change. Thanks for your help in transferring the cemetery to me if at all possible. Jack Webb
|Barbara Schwartz||Cora Jane (Summers) Martz|
Good Morning, I have an obituary for Cora, states she's the widow of Elias E. Martz. Also states she is buried in Boonsboro. Ancestry.com has her marrying Elias in 1901. I'd like to e-mail the obit to you.
Or add her to Boonsboro and I'll add her obit.

Hello, I am wondering if you have any spouse information on any of the Barney family members, they are distant relatives about whom I know nothing. Dorsey is married to a distant cousin.
|C Cain||Plots Number and where are they?|
Was wondering if you have a Map of Green Hill Cemetery in Martinsburg West Virginia showing the Plot numbers. We are looking for plot number 602? Thank You

|Peabody||Re photo request|
I'm a newbie to find a grave. In asking for a cemetery photo do I send you the memorial# and you
upload it or how does this work.
Thanks a bunch.

There is an error in his death date, should be 1866
Jacob Shay at Mountain View Cemetery, Sharpsburg.
Thanks for all of your work.
