My researching of family began, after the birth of my grandson Max in 1997, when my daughter-in-law gave me a version of Family Tree Maker. As a child I always loved mysteries. I read my mother's Ellery Queen novels, watched Perry Mason episodes and my favorite board game was Clue. I always thought how much fun it would be to work as a detective. I guess, in my own way, I do.|
I firmly believe that our ancestors deserve more than just dates on their memorials. It is because of that philosophy that I try to add as much of the information that is available to me. Thank you for either your help or your understanding when I fall short.
The surnames I am searching and recording;
from my paternal side are:
Gibson, Keller, Miller, Ploehs, Reed and Walkinshaw
from my maternal side, they are:
Beamer, Cunningham, Nelson, Peterson, Park, Parke, Parks, Perrell, Snow and Wiseman
On my husband's tree there are the following:
Mutscher, Oldendorf, vonGunden,
For those who wonder...
Why the number of memorials managed is higher than the number of memorials created?
This is due to some generous F*A*G contributors who decided to transfer some of their memorials to myself and others.
I feel honored to be one of the recipients entrusted to care for these postings.
"The measure of a woman's character is not what she gets from her ancestors, but what she leaves her descendants."

|Jennifer Lyon||Eliza Ann Delp Crigger|
Hi, just submitted a correction for the death date of Eliza Ann Delp Crigger. Her death certificate (as imaged on Ancestry.com) indicates the date of death as 23 Jul 1919. No birth date was listed on the death certificate, only an age of 63.
Ava Mae Carico #142216949,you have her buried at Pleasant Hill Meth. Church in Elk Creek Grayson, Cty. There is also the same information for Ava Mae Carico #101269733 at Lebanon UMC Cem. Elk Creek,Grayson Cty.
Both list her husband as L. E. Carico.
Is Pleasant Hill & Lebanon UMC the same cemetery?
I am also sending the same question to the person who listed her at Lebanon in hopes the question can be resolved.

|Martin Burrell||RE: Duplication???|
I was researching family and found this duplicate.
I sent this information to both people. Both with the same name memorial at the same cemetery. It was very real. The newest memorial was quite new while the other one was much older and with few family ties. It dated back to 2007-9.
Which one do you own? Sometimes the older one disappears to prevent conflict!
I let both custodians know about the duplicate in hopes that it would just go away. If you don't see the duplicate then it was taken down already. That is a good thing is it not?
Good day, Martin Burrell
I've transferred both Mary & Henry to you. I'm not related to them. Happy to help!

Marcia, If there are any of these that you want I would be glad to transfer them to you. Thanks for the up dated information.
|Dianne ||Markey Farm Cemetery|
Are you sure that the Markey Cemetery is not the Markey Farm Cemetery, near Davidsburg Road, York Co., PA. The Bermudian/Cloister members where buried in the Markey Farm Cem. near Dover, not Leader's Heights Rd.

Thank you for all the work you do in keeping this website up to date. I am a descendant of John Anderson and appreciate all the information you maintain here. I am a busy researcher always looking for more information.
You're quite welcome! No credit is necessary. We're all in this together. The more information, the greater the connections! Thank you for taking the time to make the additions! :)

Marcia, Thank you, thank you so very much for her memorial page! I was never able to find her burial place and then to find out it is about a couple hundred miles from where I live now! I may be able to visit her grave in the Spring. Again, thank you! Helen
