If you write PLEASE indentify yourself with findagrave. We usually DELETE anything from people that we don't know.
We will gladly add or delete anything that you desire. Our memorials are meant to HONOR the person who passed away, and to leave a record of that person's life, so that those who follow can access the information.
We encourage you to use the "virtual cemetery". You do not need to OWN a memorial to use it.
We transfer according to the findagrave guidelines, but please ask. There are exceptions.
THANK YOU to all the good people who work so hard to make this an exciting and usable site.

Helen, Find A Grave only SUGGESTS guidelines when it comes to transfers: the reason is: if people should "fight" over who should own them - the one related closest would get them. If no other relative wants them, it is always nice to have "family" maintaining the memorial. A lot of us Find A Grave members believe "the one with the FEWEST memorials" wins in the end. :) (cuz we can't take them with us) lol.

|Kathy Vozar Ax||RE: your aunt|
this is what it said in the Fourth paragraph: Fourth, Explain your relationship in the request! Any non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) are not required to be transferred. It says not required but you could still do it. Others have transferred that are my aunts and uncles. I am the family historian and would certainly appreciate any help Help. Thank you.
