Forget-me-not
...Once upon a time I walked across this hard, cold earth, and when I reached the end of my journey I looked back and beheld that the winds of time had erased all signs that I was ever here. But if you look closely, you will see an indentation here and a groove there, and if we are both very lucky you will find a foot print. And if you will look and find the signs of my passing, and remember me for a day or a season, I will be grateful.

I was out at St. Mary's/Mt. Calvary today. I don't know how much you know about St. Mary's. It has no identifying section markers for grave location and there are no sexton records available either. There are many stones broken and/or upended. Luckily its probably got less than 2,000 graves because you just have to walk it all and hope to see what you're trying to find.

I did not see any Abens but that doesn't mean they aren't there. I didn't have enough time to walk the whole cemetery. I'll look again next time I'm, out there.

Thank you for your transfer of this memorial and all you have contributed to this website and others. It will help many in their searching of their family lines.

Have a great day.

You may maintain her Memorial. Thank you for the offer to transfer it to me. I appreciate that her Memorial was created. I will send you the link to her parents (my Aunt & Uncle). Thanks again!

Emma Lang Cone and Frank G. Cone
Hi Kurt,

You recently created memorials for Emma Lang Cone (Find A Grave Memorial# 70739373) and her spouse, Frank G. Cone (Find A Grave Memorial# 132023517). You created these memorials in Evergreen Cemetery in Barrington, IL. I believe you should have created both memorials in the other Evergreen Cemetery which is in Evergreen Park, IL. Both cemeteries are in Cook County, but are about 50 miles apart.

I took photos of every marker in Evergreen Barrington this year and have no picture for the Cones. I checked the Barrington Library's transcription of markers and no record exists for the Cones.

I read the obituary for Emma Cone and learned that her funeral was handled by Blake-Lamb on 79th St and the service was held at 73rd and Laflin. Those locations are only a couple of miles or so from the Evergreen Park Evergreen Cemetery. Those locations are roughly 60 miles from the Barrington location.

Also, Emma's daughter is buried in a cemetery in Justice, IL which is not that far from Evergreen Park.

I believe you should change the cemetery for both memorials to the Evergreen Park Evergreen Cemetery. There are photo requests for these two markers and it will be a wild goose chase for me as there are no such graves in Barrington.

All the best,
Jim Bellert

RE: Harold & Nellie Elseth
Kurt, Find a grave has excepted Ebenezer Presbyterian Cemetery of Renville county Mn. to their list of cemeteries. So you can add the memorials of Nellie & Harold Elseth. I had to add a memorial to the cemetery to get this done so I used Harold, but will either delete or transfer it to you. Let me know when the memorials are done and I will add the marker photos.
