Lots of free time to walk. Love walking in cemeteries and admiring the various types of grave markers.
I have a huge curiosity-a need to finish a project once started. So when I start my search you can sure I will carry it out .... to the best of my ability and with the sometimes limited information available.
This is a new project for me and I hope that I can provide photos and information that family/friends are requesting.
I just added several of my own family members to the FIND-A-GRAVE site. 08/14/2011 this morning, in the pouring rain, I successfully found a grave for my friend. She had given up hope, but I was persistent and it paid off.
I have grown children, four gr. children and a huge dog. I love to garden and be outside. When forced to be indoors I do cross-stitch baby quilts and crochet afghans.
Thanks for taking that photo. We photographed all of Hebrew Cemetery on Weds. So, don't worry about taking any photos there. I will be posting them this week. I sent you a message about one that you had posted to the wrong person. You can just delete that photo and I will post one of the husband and the wife (last name was Behar I think).
RE: wolf simon Im afraid that isn't it; he was buried alone I believe; the stone is for someone with the last name Wolfe. Thanks for trying though I appreciate it. The stone would be quite a distance away from the other Simon's; and I believe he died in the early 1900s.
Rachil Boguslavsky I hope that once we get someone to take control of the cemetery that all of that maintenance will get done. Some don't have families around anymore either. Thanks for the photos you have done. I got her husband's info from her obituary except for the year he was born. Do you have that?
I can't tell you how exciting this is for me and my family. I have been searching for information on this family for years and have recently hooked up with some other folks who were also stuck looking for information on the same group. I recently started a blog to try to pull all this information together at http://roppgenealogy.blogspot.com which has been very helpful, but I haven't had time to make the drive down to MA to get this key addition to my files. Thank you SOOOOOooooo much!
