Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love genealogy and old cemeteries! If I posted a photo or memorial that is of your ancestor, I will gladly transfer it to you (as long as it is not one of my ancestors). Just ask.

You may use the Find a Grave Edit function to request the transfer of a memorial to you or to submit suggestions for corrections. If you think that corrections should be made to memorials I've created, please provide substantiating evidence (and be nice about it). I'll get to them as I can.

Mary McGie
Hello Kathleen, I am researching the Lee family. One of John Eveleigh & Mary McGie(McGee)'s children, Elizabeth Eveleigh 1845-1918, married William John Lee, 1839-191 probably in Grey County, Ontario. Elizabeth's death registration names her parents as John Eveleigh & Mary McGee. I note that you say John & Mary (McGie) Eveleigh had 11 children but you only named two of them. I would be most interested in connecting with you to find out more about the Eveleigh family. I have a couple of photo's of Elizabeth (Eveleigh) Lee. One with her sister Catherine Cosens and one as an older woman (about 1916)with her grand-daughter, Elizabeth Helen Lee. Please contact me at kathleen.bacher@sympatico.ca.

RE: John Miller
This is the first time I replied to someone where I had to give the memorial number. The number is 52488341. Sorry for the mix up. Where did you get the record from if there is no marker? I can trace him from the time they arrived in the USA until he sold property in 1921 in Brockway, Mi. If it is my ancestor, it's sad to learn that he is buried in a Potters Field. Thank you.

John Miller
This could be my great uncle. The last record I have of him is selling his property in Brockway township while married to Dora Wainwright Miller for $1.00. Is there an actual marker for him in the Goodells cemetery? Or is it just burial records? If it is a marker, who would have paid for it? I have not been able to find a death record for him in Port Huron at the courthouse. Thank you

Memorial# 69446235 Jeptha Curtiss
Hi Kathleen,

I have added some family information to your memorial for Jeptha Curtiss. His father is very well known and was a Revolutionary soldier. You can find his father's information here.

I'm attempting to decipher Jeptha's marker in Photosop.

Link to his father is here and will give Jeptha's name and date of birth:

Thank you for helping unite families.
