I love doing genealogy, love going to cemeteries, searching, and taking pictures for others. I have worked on my own family genealogy since the 1970s.|
Please submit EDITS to name, birth/death dates, birth/death place, relationship links to parents/spouse, plot location and/or marker transcription through specific links available under the Edit feature. Only other changes should be submitted using The "Suggest any other correction or addition"
TRANSFER requests for the most part will be made within the Findagrave guidelines, for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, your children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Please request transfers via the "Suggest a Correction" link under the "Edit" tab on the memorial in question with your request to have the memorial transferred to you - please include your relationship. I will consider all transfer requests and some may be granted outside the guidelines.
Don't hesitate to use the PHOTOS. However, please, do not copy my photos to ancestry.com or other sites without giving me credit. Simply indicate: Mountain Traveler 2006-2016 @ Find A Grave. I just think this is a courtesy to the time and effort taken to obtain the photos.
Please DON'T DUPLICATE memorials in cemeteries and do NOT make duplicate cemeteries. Check all name possibilities and spellings before adding a new name.

This is the way her mother - my cousin wants it or she would have said something when she approved the memorial

Good morning. I have an interest in your Find A Grave Memorial# 63056051. Florence is listed in the 1930 census for Washington as a "mother" to a person in a cemetery in Washington Co., TN that I am researching. Here is her memorial # 167240984. You can click on the highlighted names to take you to that persons memorial. I have not added family links because at the moment, I am not 100% sure what they are.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hello and thank you so much for taking the picture. The only photo available on the internet was small and of poor quality, so you have solved the predicament!

Memorial Find A Grave Memorial# 74648814 you maintain I believe is listed in the wrong cemetery. As a Rice Family Genealogist I read his death Certificate and it list Mt. Olive Cemetery not Mount Olivet Cemetery / State of Tenn also recognizes he is buried at Mt. Olive Cemetery http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=15981&CScn=Mt.Olive&CScntry=4&CSst=45&CScnty=2454&
Thank you, Mountain Traveler, for your prompt reply regarding my inquiry as to why the Find A Grave record reads, "Infant Babb" with a 17-year time span. While we still do not fully know why, I now understand how. At least that's something! Thank you for the work you do on this project in honoring our dead. You have my respect and gratitude.

Thank you so much for taking the picture in Andrew Johnson National Cemetery. Don't know when I will ever get that way again.

Thank you so much for the transfer of my grandfather's memorial page. I have already added a long bio so others can know more about him.
