Bio and Links
Bio Photo I began my genealogy researching after my father mentioned that he wanted to know what happened to one of his aunts on his father's side. He didn't know his father since he passed away in 1935 just after he was born. He didn't know a thing about his grandparents on his father's side either, so my search began. I wanted to locate information, any information that I could gather for him.

After I received marriage and death certificates for some of the relatives, names started fitting into place. I found it interesting and intriguing. The journey has taken so far 3 years and I still have a long way to go.

I am now searching for locations of graves/headstones for many of my relatives so that I can let my father know where they are resting.

I am hoping that this site can help me find the relatives long lost. Maybe some of the family headstones that I add can help others in their search, as well.

Family names include: Thompson, East, Roope, Roop, Rupe, Hudson, Wolfe, Loftis, Lewis, Wilbourne, Wilburn, Wilborn, Nance, White, Bond, and many others.

I am having difficulty in locating graves for many relatives. I know where they passed away but where they are resting is a mystery. Maybe some day they will no longer be mysteries.

Hi...I left an edit to add her parents.

I took a picture request for her and added the family monument, but there wasn't an individual marker...

Thanks Rose

Hello Connie,
Thank you for your generosity in transferring:
Alice Mae Phipps Johnson # 62152048
to my care. I have successfully connected her with parents and two of her seven siblings. As I receive more information, I will add it to Our shared memorial.
With sincerest appreciation,

Amanda Roop
This person is my 2nd great grandmother. For some unknown reason, picked up from the 1860 census the name of a farm laborer as the husband of Amanda. She was listed as a widow on the census, she was the wife of the late Jesse Toney, therefore her name is and always will be Amanda Jarrell Toney. I have her birth year as 1815, the day of death is correct. Jesse Toney died in 1857.

The Clarks of Dora and Duncan

As you suggested, I believe I have added the word and link to the Clark Memorials I created in the Duncan Cemetery at Draper.

I can't imagine the remains were moved.

RE: Clive Dalton
Thank you. I am working down the list of pictures I made in the Duncan Family Cemetery and will finish in a day or so. So far I have found 10 more that are listed in the Draper Cemetery.

To add to the mystery, I found that 3 Clarks (Froney, James and Elizabeth) that were listed in the Dora Cemetery that have markers in the Duncan Family Cemetery. I created memorials for them in the Duncan Cemetery and referenced back to the Dora Cemetery. Do you suppose they were moved?

Thanks again, -A
