Charles Finnell (1762-1842) is buried outside the village of Mount Airy in Randolph County, Missouri. Born in Orange County, Virginia, he served as a teenager in Washington's army and was present at the British surrender at Yorktown. Later, as a Baptist preacher, he helped found churches in both Kentucky and Missouri.|
I am one of Charles Finnell's many descendants.
Please contact me if you'd like to swap info or to correct biographies I may have gotten wrong.
I will happily transfer ownership of memorials of folks I'm not closely related to. Let me know.

Thank you so much for the photo.
Thanks for the heads up on the duplicate memorial. My information regarding place of burial came from his death certificate. I contacted Tammy, who created the second memorial, to see if she knows something I don't!

You are welcome. Are you related to Coy? I actually knew him and Joy. He delivered something(can't remember what) to my family's grocery store.
