|RC1821||Patick Higgins, Salamanca NY|
Hi, I saw that you were the entrant for the info about Patrick Higgins (1840-1915), buried in Wildwood Cemetary, Salamanca, NY. The note: "Son of Cain and Margaret Higgins. Husband of Fannie. Father of Carrie, Frank, Nellie, Archibald, Charles, Ettie, and George. Veteran of the Civil War. Co K 56th NY Volunteers." intrigues me.
Where did you get the information about his parents? I am descended from Patrick's sister Hannah and I have found through my research that her father was a man named Francis Higgins.

|Stone Searcher||RE: your grandparents|
Hi. Thanks for making the updates. Yes, you may transfer them to me, if that's the proper way to do things on find a grave.
|Andrea Betts||Almina E "Minnie" Harrison|
Minnie Emma Harrison lived with her uncle, William Harrison and his wife Almina after her own mother died in 1871. You can find her in the 1880 census living with her other grandparents, Martha Brooks Jones and Asa Jones, but in 1892 and 1900 censuses she is living with her uncle William and in the 1900 census she is identified as NIECE. In 1892 and 1900 she has the occupation listing of TEACHER as well.
Her parents are: Mary Orpha Jones (1850- 1871) and Charles H Harrison (b. 1843- older brother of William Harrison).
Thanks for posting what you did on her find a grave site. I had been unable to find her after she left her Jones grandparents and your information sent me searching for her with her uncle's family where I found her.
Andrea Betts(Mary Orpha Jones is my great-grand-aunt)

I am trying to research Arline Eva Jones's family history, and cannot trace her beyond her parents, Stephen D. and Gertrude E. Jones. Since you are aware of their children's names, is it possible that you know more about the family, and could supply her grandparents' names?
|Jessica Debra||Palmer family|
I am researching the Palmer family and saw that you posted the entries for Wilhelm Deitrich Palmer, his wife Augusta Paschedag Palmer and daughter Alma. I am the great-granddaughter of Deitrich and Augusta (through their daughter Grayse and her daughter Jo Ann). So I was wondering if you have any additional information on this family.
My relatives and I are especially interested in Deitrich's death certificate information (primarily if it lists his parents' names), or any sources of information as to Deitrich's family in Germany.
Also, I'm desperately searching for the burial locations for 3 of the children (Amelia, Arthur and Harvey). I've been in contact with the museum and city clerk's office in Salamanca but they do not have records for the graves (in Wildwood Cemetery anyway) for these 3, and only have a death record of any kind for Harvey (which is limited due to damage from a fire, and only lists burial in Salamanca).
Alhough any information on the family would be appreciated. Please feel free to email me at email@example.com.

Hi again. I left this message back in April and have not heard back from you. The information is great and I am sure you are busy, but I would truly appreciate an answer. I am too lazy to retype, so have just copied and pasted: Hello. If you don't mind, I have a couple of questions about the information you've recorded about these people. Buried in Wildwood Cemetery in Salamanca, New York.
You stated that Olive's maiden name is Burdick - I agree, but where did you find that?
Also you mention they Silas and Olive were married about 1840 - again, that works for me, but what is your reference material?
Thank you so much!
firstname.lastname@example.org or call me if that works for you.

I'm researching this entire line of Bishops and in contact with the descendants direct line (I'm indirect, but still a Bishop descendant.)
I have Viola's death certificate. I do know for certain that her father's full birth name is Manford Burdette Bishop b. 12 Mar 1859 Cattaraugus Co. He's listed on "Declaration of Widow's Army Pension" regarding his father Buell Bishop Civil War service, son of Martin Bishop and Zylpha Beach. His mother is Lucina Ingols, dau of James Ingols and Mary Kellicut. But her mother is listed as Lillian Leach. (Which may be actually "Beach" and would make more sense in this family line.) Do you know where "Crocker" came from? In all the stuff I've seen so far, I haven't run across that name. I'm not aware of Lillian having more than one spouse (which doesn' mean she didn't have more.)
Thanks for your help in advance.

I apologize for not offering proof in my early message as the the correct given name for "Alford" or "Alfred" Odell, especially in light of a number of censuses that used the spelling "Alfred". Ancestry.com has a copy of his WWI Registration Card that shows his given name spelled and signed by him as "Alford Warren O'Dell". I can provide you with a copy (or upload an image of it to his memorial) if that would help.Thank you for your consideration as to updating the memorial for him.
