I was raised in Valmeyer Illinois and lived in the area most of my life. I belong to the Monroe County Genealogy Society. I enjoy taking pictures of graves as we have so many that you can't read anymore and I think it is a great way to preserve them. I enjoy linking families together and seeing them come together. |
I think this is one of the coolest sites. It helps with finding lost relatives and gives us a way to see relatives memorials that we my never find otherwise. Most people will agree it is a great tool.
If I have your family and you want it transferred, please let me know or give me information to update it if you will.
I am plat manager at Valmeyer UCC Cemetery so have most of the information for it but records can be wrong so please inform me of any needed corrections.
Please feel free to email me with family tree in the message box so that it doesn't go into my spam.

Thanks for taking the picture of a distant cousin, Virginia Kunkel. If I can pay if forward, I'd be glad to (a local Viet Nam vet and his wife cover the two closest cemetaries very quickly As much as I enjoy it, they usually snap requests up first!)

Hello! Yes, I have parent information and I will be adding that and anything else I have found up to this point. Thank you!
|Stephen M.||THANK YOU|
Thank you so very much for the photos of Katherine and Victor Koch's memorials. I really appreciate your contribution and all the work you and others like you do for F-A-G. It brings our long lost relatives a tad closer.

Thank you so much for getting the picture of this couples' headstone! I found while researching them that they were buried there per death records, but they weren't listed on this cemetery's page. So I added them and was hoping and crossing my fingers that the documents I found were correct and that they were in fact buried there. And you found them! Thank you!!!

Thank you so very much for finding my great-grandmother's headstone! I knew many of my great-grandparents, but didn't know anything about Laura until I started working on my family tree. The headstone provides a third spelling of her last name, and hopefully now I can find out what happened to her and her last husband. LOVE Find A Grave folks!

Apparently there are still problems with Find a Grave.
|Peggy Ray||RE: DOWNLOADING PICTURES|
I haven't added any photos lately - but did notice on the forums that people were having problems with uploading photos but it seems they are not having problems this morning.
Hope that helps!
