Bio and Links
Bio Photo I, like most of you, love learning about family history. I am interested in all my family lines: Atkins, Brock, Brown, Whittle, Caldwell, Roesler, Russell, Holloway, Austin, Dobbs, Hollis, LeMaster, Lewallen, Canter, Sansing, Flanegan, Vaughns, and many others. The work of Find A Grave volunteers and other genealogists is very much appreciated. While my time is limited due work and family, I try to contribute as much of my time as is possible.

If you wish me to transfer your direct line family member to you, use the edit tab on the memorial page, then click to submit a correction or additional information and I will consider it. What I look for before I transfer a memorial is if the person requesting is an active find a graver, meaning, does that person go out and survey cemeteries, photograph graves, research for data on the person, or others, not even related. I used to think I should "own" or manage memorials of my family members, which I think is common to newcomers to find a grave. I don't feel that way anymore. Rather than owning my relatives memorials, I add them to my virtual cemeteries so they are readily available to me. I used to be more "giving" and transferred to anyone requesting. I don't do that anymore. After transferring, often, nothing changed on the memorials. Then I would send an edit request to that person, with no response. I am more than willing to make any reasonable updates to the memorial and so just send me any information you think should be changed and I will take care of it as soon as possible. You are able to add photos as you wish to the memorials, no matter who maintains it. Thanks!

Logan Brock Smith
Lee Roy Broom / Leroy Floyd Broome

I'm just sending this as a courtesy because I see you maintain (and based off your bio probably descend from) Lee Roy Broom. I sent the edit submission removing "Floyd" as his middle name because whoever added it is confusing Lee Roy Broom with Leroy Floyd Broome who married Anna Lee Smith. Leroy Floyd Broome's grave is located at #37713908.

Logan (your distant cousin ... probably)

RE: Burkhalter information
Thanks for your help. How did you create the link on Elom site that went straight michaela and adelheit? I did not know you could do that. I had just been leaving the memorial number on other sites I have linked back. I would like to know that trick

Hi Donna,
Regarding the memorial #123874248 of Joseph Louis Portman, Elaine Whittle was his 3rd wife. Irma Sue (born Lydia)Binnion (Memorial #12761877) was Joe's second wife. Joe is the father of my husband.

RE: Carrie & Elbert Robert Posey Pics
Yes you may use the pics. I do not claim any copyright for any photos I post. They are there to assist families as they need.

Happy hunting.... and remember "Genealogy was designed for confusing the dead and annoying the living"

Joan Ware
Hi Donna,
Do you mind transferring Joan Ware to me? She's my aunt. I made a memorial for her 143825867 and was trying to connect her with her father and mother and noticed you had one. My # is 47503910.
