|Born: 1953 |
Husband: William Oscar Taylor Jr.
My husband and I were raised in Sylvania, Screven County, Georgia. We moved to Savannah, Georgia in 1972 due to my husband's job. We raised three children in Chatham County, Georgia and have six grand children.
I am researching all branches of my family tree and my husband's tree. There is quite a lot of branches to research primarily in Georgia. Some of the branches include:
Beard, Bazemore, Lariscy, Fries, Bragg, Counts, Edenfield, Taylor, Jenkins, Cuthbert
We often visit many of cemeteries in Screven County and surrounding counties. They are always a quite and peaceful places to visit.

I'm the granddaughter of Fred Mark Parker, Jr. I've been researching my family tree over the last few years, and the info you have provided on the Taylor/Parker families have been a huge help to me! Thank you for all your hard work!
I'm trying to figure out exactly how we are related. Your husband is a Taylor? Who are his grandparents/ parents?
|Catherine Carter||Henry Mims Jackson (1813-1900)|
Hi Jesse, Trying to get some facts straight in my head. Henry would be the brother of Joel T Jackson (1811-1897). I see parents listed as John W Jackson and Sarah Elizabeth (Eliza) Hurst. However they were not married until 1829. Perhaps John was married before "Eliza"? Hmm?
|Angela Lee||George Michael Fries|
Do you have any info on George Michael Fries(1823-1896) buried in Pfeiffer Cemetery? Would like to know who his siblings are. I have tried unsuccessfully to locate him on census records at ancestry.com. I'm pretty sure Anna Catherine Fries Getzinger Pfeiffer (1829-1907) was a sister. Wondering if Anthony Joseph Fries (1835-1882) of Brookville, Indiana was brother.

|Jane ||RE: Your parents|
That is very sweet and kind of you to share those thoughts about mom and dad. I consider myself very fortunate to have had them as parents. I tell people all the time, if I can be half as good a person as they were...then I am doing good! Mom loved going to the nursing home every Sunday after church and lunch. It was part of her routine and she enjoyed taking flowers to the residents there. I miss them both tremendously. Thank you again for sharing those thoughts.

Thank you for the edit and the addition of the obituary, updates gladly made.
Do you know why the obituary shows her middle initial as "M"? I had received an earlier edit about a year ago to add a middle initial of "S" and a maiden name of Guinn.
This is not my own family line, I am happy to transfer to you if she was one of yours.

Its actually the correct cemetery,but the name was typed in as El Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery,instead of El-Bethel Cemetery.So it actually created a new cemetery,any way that is how it is looking on my end. Sorry if I'm confusion you,I don't meen too.

The memorial that you created on Sept.9,2015 for
Harold Wayne "ROCK" Howell Jr. #152090797,is in the findagrave.com as one internment for El Bethel Baptist church Cemetery, If you go to El Bethel Cemetery, you will find all the internments. I came across this recently while photographing the cemetery. Most of my husbands relatives are buried there. And we also live on the same dirt road as the cemetery (1/2 mile)from us. Thanks for all your hard work.
Have a blessed day'
