NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK: Savannah (black) and her sister Sophie. 11 months old March 2012.
I am a retired school teacher living in Gainesville, Georgia. I would be willing to tackle cemeteries for anyone needing a request from Hall county or the Atlanta area. 4 children and 3 grandchildren, 2 cats and a patient grave hunting husband. I am researching Dixon, Housmon, Burgess, Graves, Gibbs, Sprinkle and Pearce families of Tennessee, Oklahoma and Texas.

Nancy, thank you very, very much for your thoughtful sponsorship of Smokey's memorial. It was quite a surprise -not because Smokey's life was not deserving- but because the memorial is so new, never saw anyone be sponsored so fast! I had a very down conversation yesterday with my sister in law and I know their family is feeling the loss of their longtime friend, so it will be extra nice to show the family the memorial, and let them know Smokey's story has meaning to other folks too. Hi Nancy,
Thanks for the note. I still have pain, but less than before. Starting PT on Monday... :-( Not my favorite, but I'd sure like to get rid of this sling!!! I'll try to keep my feet ON the ground and the rest of me OFF it! lol
