RE: William Christopher Owen
Marvin I have the same document you refer to which is his application for a Georgia State Civil War disability pension and the birth date given there is the same as the one I have for him on my site which is 26 April 1828. Do you disagree with that?? I have no other source for that date. Are you aware that he was married twice and had 10 children by those two wives?? Are you aware of his strange history while in the military service?? Contact me directly at jowenj@comcast.net if you choose to corresponde more on this man and his family. He was my g-g-g grandfather.

Marvin,

I'm just now seeing your email. So sorry it took so long. My mom passed away at her home in Blue Ridge, GA in 2005. My dad passed away in Whiting, Indiana in 1983.

RE: Your Mother
Hi Marvin,

I am so sorry, I am just now seeing your email!! I haven't been on Find A Grave in months. Yes, my mother passed away in Georgia. She died at her home in Blue Ridge. My dad, Homer did pass away in Indiana where he and mom were living at the time. Hope you and your family are all doing well. I'm so glad to see that spring is trying to make it's appearance.
