Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been working on my genealogy for a few years now. In school I always found history interesting and genealogy is exactly that. Markers are fading and crumbling and memories get lost so I feel it is important to document as much as possible.

If I have listed a memorial for a family member of yours, let me know and I will transfer it. Granted they aren't my relative too........... Please feel free to use any photograph I post on this site.

Ailstock, Downam, Vess, Armentrout, Foutch

RE: Twibell North Cemetery
You poor thing. It's hotter than Hades here. No rain in sight until end of Oct.

If you get a change, would appreciate it. I know how difficult it is to have enough time for anything when a move is on the horizon. If no time, not a worry, will work on finding someone.

A. P. Johnson
It is wonderful to find this information and thank you for maintaining this site. A. P. Johnson was born in Bath County, VA and died in Waynesboro, VA.

He was son of Bernard "Barney" Johnson, Jr. and Salena Frances Bowyer.

The Johnson family originated in the Lowlands of Scotland and have a wonderful rich history. I've researched the family, my father's line back a thousand years in the midst of time.

Pulley Transfer
Thank you so much for the transfers of my cousins, George and Harriet Pulley, as well as the use of your photos. You are indeed a good man and in the spirit of what this site is supposed to be, linking family members together.

Elsie Ailstock - Arlington Cemetery
I had previously looked for a stone for Elsie and found what I thought was the correct plot. Seems I was wrong. I found her listed on a stone today with the name Baltaian across the top. I've added the photo to her memorial.

RE: Armentrout Cemetery
The plot that Im looking for is a private family plot. However, the Armentrouts no longer own the land. I was able to get a list of the people buried there from the Historical Society with directions to the plot. Maybe one day Ill make it to Millboro and see if the current owners will let me take a look.

Thank you for your response.

Armentrout Cemetery
Jim -

Hello - its me again. Are you from and currently living in the Millboro area of VA? I am trying to locate an Armentrout Cemetery and I can not find it on Find A Grave anywhere. Actually there are 2 cemeteries for Armentrouts, but there is one in particular that sounds like it could be the one I am looking for.

Maggie Stewart

Looks like maybe we are very far removed relatives. :) I am curious (if you can remember) was Henry Stewart buried in Windy Cove Cem along with his wife Maggie?
