Frost Cemetery, Barbour Co, Alabama
Hi...I see that you documented most, if not all of this cemetery Frost Cemetery, Barbour County Alabama. First off, thank you for doing that.

Secondly, I would like to try and get this cemetery on the Alabama Historical Cemetery register. I have done several in this county. If you know anything about the families there, or have a contact for the Frost family(s) I would appreciate your input. I have to prove historical significance. And this is small African-American cemetery and there are not too many relatives left in the county.

I have a little information, and know that one family member wrote a book but I will need more information. Thanking you in advance for any information you can share.

Very respectfully,
Cynthia

Clara Thames Hardy Apr 6 1905 - Oct 06 1993

Thank you for any help in this matter.

Gravestone Photo Permission
Thank you for photographing the gravestone of Denson Alford in Bell Chapel Cemetery (Memorial# 24016229). I appreciate it.

I would like to add this gravestone photo to the non-profit Alford American Family Association's collection of Illinois Obituaries, where his obituary is (or will be) included because that's where he died. You can see the current collection at http://www.alfordassociation.org/OBITS/ALOBIT.htm.

May I have your permission to include your gravestone photos? If so, the photo caption will say:

Photo from [cemetery name, city, county, state]—www.findagrave.com
Permission granted by the photographer, J. B. Chrismond

And thanks so much for your gravestone photo work!

Best regards,
Pamela Alford Thompson (Find A Grave #47195155)

Randy Brackin
Thank you so much for the photo for Randy. He was one of 87 men from A Troop 3/4 Cavalry that died in Vietnam. He was also the very last soldier in our unit that we lost. Soon I will have them all back together again where they belong and then my work will be done.

Reverend Charlie Lee Washington
Thank you for adding my mathernal grandfather, Reverend Charlie Lee Washington to the Find A Grave database! I received an Ancestry.com hint on it, and was surprised to see him in the database, AND the photograph of his headstone! I know it is my grandfather, because I have a picture of the same exact headstone in Damascus Baptist Church Cemetary in Hardaway, Alabama where I grew up!
