|Bob2653||RE: Hope Brown|
Hi, and thanks for the speedy response. Yes, Hope was my older 2nd cousin. I was actually pretty close to the same age as her daughter, Julia, who was an avid genealogist, and connected the family to our Revolutionary War ancestry and shared the details with me. Julia died an untimely death about 16 years ago in her 40s. Thankfully I was able to visit her a couple times before she passed away and share our joint ancestral origins. I would very much appreciate you transferring the page management to me, as I hope to make further connections within the family on Find-A-Grave. Thanks so much. Take care,

Thanks for updating them. I'm related but the connection is at the great-grandparent level. I don't really need to manage them, I just like to see the connections made, which you made happen.

|Jeffry Burden||Kupka Cemetery|
That's it -- the circular stand of thick trees just north of the pond. There was no fence or gate there in '07, and I doubt any have been put up. There are only a few markers amongst the trees-- maybe four or five.

I was there once seven years ago, so my memory is not fresh, but it is about two miles south of Riverside.
My recollection is that it is on a knoll just to the north of where Old Captains Road ends, a few dozen yards east of US 218. Follow Riverside Road south, left on 135th Street, right on Tulip Ave., left on Old Captains Road.
I note that online satellite images I found place it to the east of 218. That is incorrect.
Hope this helps!
|Suzy & Rob||Ella Leimer|
Well, I've looked at all the Leimer family in Denver and I don't see another Ella. I did find an Emma who was born about the same time but I have a memorial for her and it appears that she was Ella's sister-in-law. I am going to delete my memorial for Ella, I really think there was only one person by that name. I calculated the birthdate from the age given in the sexton records and that can be an iffy thing to do, at best. As far as the difference in the death year, I don't know. It could be as simple as the stone being created some years after the event and whoever ordered it having a faulty memory. But I would go with your memorial and the dates that are on the stone. The only thing I'll mention is that I couldn't find where your SAC person found her maiden name. I couldn't find mention of it either on Ancestry or on Family Search.
