My bio photo is not me. It is what I call the 'original selfie'. In the 1950s, my Grandpa, Clinton Allen Crow, took an entire roll of film with his new camera only to find, after it was developed, that he had been looking into the wrong end.|
I love history and have been researching family history (mine and my husband's) for over 20 years. I've been helped so much by find-a-grave, so I enjoy volunteering to help others. I'm more than willing to transfer management of memorials to those more closely related to the deceased - just ask. You have my consent to download and use any photographs of headstones that I have taken for genealogy purposes. You may also re-post them to other genealogy sites including ancestry.com.
I have been married to my wonderful husband, Lonnie, for 29 years and we have a wooly Alaskan Malamute.
Our main ancestral lines are:
1) KNIGHT - VA>NC>TN,
2) CROW - TN>MO,
3) SEDILLO/CEDILLO - NM,
4) LOCK - MI

If you want to send it to me, I will post it. I am not related to this person, so if you are, I would be happy to transfer ownership to you. Let me know please.

|Renae Carpenter||RE: Horton headstones|
You're welcome. Happy to do it.
I would like her obituary. I will post it in her bio.
Thank you for the information.
|Fay C. Leonard||RE: Petty Headstone picture|
I went ahead and photographed all the Petty's in the cemetery and actually found one that was not on Find a Grave. It is spelled Ceicle on the stone but I think his name was Cecil. I have family there and got some new photos and also found some who did not have memorials, so it was a worthwhile trip.
|Fay C. Leonard||John Hensley|
Thanks for the info! That certainly goes to show things are not always as they appear. Since he and Julia are buried side by side, I would have assumed he was her husband until I saw her obit.
|MHN||Irene Robinson Brewington|
I accepted the edit yesterday. Also changed some other information on the memorial. Thank you for the correction. Looks like there were two Irene Robinson's that were born about the same time. The obits proved that you had the correct parents. MHN

|Fay C. Leonard||Julia Hensley|
There is a John Hensley buried beside Julia. He is memorial 134680467. I assumed he was her husband but the obit says she was married to Alvis. Do you happen to know who John is?
