Picture taker, scavenger, finder of the lost....Visitor to many of those long gone.|
A stone with a name is a memorial, it represents the last hard impression of the person for whom it was prepared. To research and say something about the person keeps the personality alive.
I will connect links that are identified as long as you give me all of the memorial numbers involved.
I do not want to place incorrect information in a memorial, so I will correct errors to a memorial when they are accurately identified.
I know that people will find infomation about a given person but please do not send that information to me to add under bio, as I do not have the time to add it. If they are your direct family, I will transfer the memorial to you. Please explain the relationship and identify all applicable numbers for me in order to do this.
Thank you for your understanding.

Thank you so much for posting the photo of my uncle. I did not know he died in the Civil War and this means a lot to me - excellent work you are doing on findagrave and I am most appreciative!

Thanks for letting me know this was a duplicate, I didn't see the other one. I put in a request for a transfer for the other memorial and deleted mine.

|Marcialyn||RE: Kate Schwenk cemetery question|
Mike, I have removed the request as I think you are right-I have the wrong cem. She died in Philadelphia not in Reading. I apologize for wasting your time, money and effort. I'm very, very sorry. I owe you big time.
|Marcialyn||Kate Schwenk cemetery question|
You know what? Boyerstown is not Reading is it?
The obit states "the Catholic cemetery" and since the church she belonged to was St. Joseph, I went for a St Joseph Cemetery in Berks Co.
Hill Church Union Cemetery is aliased to Saint Joseph Hill Church Cemetery, according to FindAGrave search results.
Fair reasoning? Please correct me in any way here as I'm how many thousands of miles away from Reading, PA?
Thanks for these photos, much appreciated. I read somewhere that the shape of the stone top marks the person as a veteran, do you know anything about that?
