Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Chicago, Illinois and am working on records for my father's and mother's families primarily.
I enjoy taking photographs of grave sites for photo requests. My priorities are sites with a location provided then by request date. Many places have requests that are several years old. You are welcome to use any of the photos I post as you wish. Requests for photo files or transfers are welcome. Email or use the edit tab on a memorial.

Please provide a location in the cemetery for your photo request. Contacting the cemetery is usually successful at obtaining a location. Info about the presence of a grave marker may also be available and is helpful. Locating unmarked graves can be very difficult.

If you want a photo of mine removed from your memorial, or have higher quality photos than the ones I posted, please feel free to post them, then let me know, and I will remove mine.

Gratitude to you for the marker photos of my distant Chicago cousins. Especially grateful that you took time to shoot the unmarked grave of Walter, and very interesting to see the Masons sign on Oscar's marker. That may help me locate more details about this family. Respectfully yours, - Chris Carden

Chandler Memorials
I cannot thank you enough for the pictures you took in Graceland Cemetery of my Chandler ancestors! A picture provides an explanation and a connection you cannot find any other way. Bless you in all your efforts! With kindest regards, Lynn Samuelson

Thank you so much for visiting Graceland Cemetery and inquiring about my GG Grandfather's brother, Robert Hull. My mother and I had a feeling there would be no marker. Thanks for confirming this.

RE: John Bice Turner & Martha Turner
Appreciate this so much!!! Great picture. I do alot of research for family and have tracked the Turner's back to being related by marriage. I also have a good friend that is related to the Turner's and he will be very interested in this information also.

Thanks for making it out to their gravesite. Too bad the founder of Elmhurst doesn't have more than a generic family marker. I'd bet that, 140 yrs. ago, he did have one. But, markers have a way of disappearing.
Thanks again.

John Bice Turner & Martha Turner
I have requests for Turner's at Graceland Cemetery.

I contacted the cemetery and the section is D, Lot 291, grave #5 and grave #2
John Bice Turner 1799-1871
Martha Voluntine Turner 1798-1853

I had planned on getting there to take these photo's but find I am not able to do that.
Thanks so much!!!!
