Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been doing genealogy since 1976. This has been a fun hobby looking up my ancestors and finding out who and where they are buried. It shows me what stock I come from my heritage.

Plus this is a great source for finding others in my tree to fill in the gap of blanks in my family history.

I use this as a training place for helping others trying to find their ancestors to learn where they come from and who they may be related to.

Researching surnames on Boelling, Gardner,
Ungry, Wert, McLaughlin, Gustin, Brinkmann, Black,
Henry and others.

Been known to be a Gravestone whisperer.

Hi- I reported a problem for your photo request and haven't heard back from you. The office has no record with either spelling for him or for his wife. The photo request is being removed and both memorials should be moved to Burial unknown.

Thanks

Linda

Nancy Burr
Jane Madden
You have a photo request for Jane Madden in Oak Ridge Cemetery in West Liberty, Iowa. I have notified the person who created this memorial that they have her and Henry buried in the wrong cemetery. They are both in Greenwood Cemetery in Muscatine, Iowa.

Ira Vance
Tom, Thanks for correcting the cemeteries for Ira and his family. Their headstones are lovely and have definitely withstood the times.

RE: vance family gedcom
My lineage is John Vance who married Nancy (not Bradley); his son Robert Vance who married Catherine Barnhouse; his son Wilson who married Mary Magdelen Harper; their son William Simpson who married Alice Bland (second wife); their son Claude Fentress Vance; his son Arlo D Vance. John Vance's father was Alexander and Jane was supposedly his wife. I'm not finding any of the books you have referenced in the past.
Thanks.

John Hinson # 42851659
Hi, I was looking for a John Hinton when I came across the document I posted on John Hinson's memorial page. It shows him dying in 1884 instead of 1890.

RE: Catherine and Matthew Harris
Hi Tom,
If you have access to Ancestry.com I have posted almost everything I have on Catherine and Matthew. My Family tree name is Bingham and Beyond. Let me know if you don't have Ancestry as I can send a GedCom file.

Eleanor (Baum) Boelling
Hello Tom,

Eleanor & Otto Boelling were my husband's grandparents. He never met Otto, as he passed away before my husband was born, but I think he did get to meet Eleanor. Their daughter, Esther, was my husband, Jerry's, mother. If you would like any information, please let me know!

Thanks,

Sheri Rice

Photo Request - Blanche Miroglo
Tom,
I believe the last name to be "Miroglio" as I find the following information for a Blanche Miroglio:

California Death Index, 1940-1997
Name: Blanche Myrtle Miroglio
Social Security #: 520102945
Sex: Female
Birth Date: 14 Aug 1904
Birthplace: Iowa
Death Date: 26 Aug 1985
Death Place: Lake
Mother's Maiden Name: Foy
Father's Surname: Black

Social Security Death Index
Name: Blanche Miroglio
SSN: 520-10-2945
Last Residence: 95422 Clearlake, Lake, California, United States of America
Born: 14 Aug 1904
Died: Aug 1985
State (Year) SSN issued: Wyoming (Before 1951)

U.S. Public Records Index, Volume 1
Name: Blanche Miroglio
Address: PO Box 1166, Lower Lake, CA, 95457-1166 (1986)
[6215 Old Highway 53, Clearlake, CA, 95422-9388]
[PO Box 4007, Clearlake, CA, 95422-4007 (1985)]

Also, there is an Albert Miroglio, b. 16 Nov 1911, d. 4 Sep 1964 in Contra Costa Co., CA (whose mother's surname was Marello) listed in the California Death Index.

I went through all the burial listings for the Cheyenne cemeteries and did not find Blanche in any of them. We went to Lakeview again today and checked to see if she is buried with her first husband (Thomas Wixtead) in Lot 1918. There is no grave marker for her in that location or the immediate area.

Do you have any specific info that she is actually buried in Lakeview? It is a very old cemetery and I have found many marked graves that are not on the cemetery's digital records.

Regards,
Jerry
