RE: Mace & Powers at Mount Hope Cemetery
Thank you for your two notes.

I hope that you will include my copyright with the photos as you pass them on so that they do not get further posted elsewhere online, but by all means share them or the link to them on Find A Grave.

The quote is from the Gospel of Matthew 10:42. Another wonderful promise for Christians living out their faith and being charitable.

Best wishes for a wonderful Christmas!

Ace

P.S. Most of the photo requests are not fulfilled because the person making the photo request has not provided the burial plot (as per the Help with Find A Grave). It would be near impossible for a single photographer to go to the cemetery office and get all 600 locations, but 600 individuals can easily obtain the burial plots. So many people expect the photographer to obtain the burial plot, but that is not the photographer's job. At other cemeteries I have e-mailed over 500 people to ask them to contact the cemetery office and obtain the burial plot, but usually only around 1 to 3% respond to these personal requests. It's so sad they won't spend a few minutes to get the photo they want.

The other problem is the flooding at this cemetery. There are places I could not go yesterday since they were still underwater.

Mace & Powers at Mount Hope Cemetery
Hi! Photos posted for J. Stowell Mace and Laurance Powers. Note that you show the name for J. Stowell as Livingston Stowell, but the dates you show in the memorial and the dates on the grave marker are exactly the same.

Also there:

Donivan Betts, May 19, 1896 - Nov. 8, 1899
Rev. B. F. Mace, 1825 - 1907
Amy T. Mace, M.D., Oct 15, 1908 (only one date)

The markers below are next to those above and are the exact same style as those above.

Ella Deenis, 1858 - 1948
Henry H. Deenis, 1851 - 1927
Mother, 1829 - 1915

John K. Love, 1866 - 1935
Lydia E. Love, 1867 - 1942

If you add photo requests for any of them I will post the photos that I took.

Clarise Mace
Finally heard back from the Sunnyside Cemetery manager. Claise Mace is buried in Fern section, grave 428, which is directly North and across the driveway from NW Magnolia. I'll visit Sunnyside the first part of this coming week and get a photo for you.

Abigal Betts and Clarise Mace
Abigal's grave does not have a marker; in fact, there are no markers in this lot and nearby lots appear to have about 1/3 of the graves unmarked. I have posted a photo of Abigal's grave location. The cemetery has a circular drive that goes around the center area. NW Magnolia is the North West quarter of this circle. Lot 67 happens to be adjacent to the driveway - you can see the curb in the lower left of the photo.

I am awaiting the location of Clarise's grave. The cemetery manager (the sole administrative employee) has been on vacation for the past week. He is supposed to be back today; so I should be getting an email from him within a day or two (depending on his backlog).

Asenath (Warner) Baker
Rebecca, thank you so much for the transfer of the memorial you created for Asenath. I am pleased to add all the information into her biog. I wish I could find a direct descendant of her family who would have photos to share and upload. Anyway, thanks again!
