|Angie Fletcher Ellis||RE: Kyle Duke|
I fixed your request in the biography on Kyle Duke's page but I can't fix the link to his foster brother because I didn't add that grave- sorry.
Kyle was a very dear friend to my husband and was a groomsman in our wedding. I added a picture on his Find A Grave page of Kyle and my husband, David. They were troopers together and would call each other regularly. In fact, Kyle, Tracy and Mason spent a lot of time with us when Mason was small. David and I have lots of fond memories of Kyle at our house and hanging out together. My husband was devastated when he heard the news about Kyle- we still can't believe he is gone. I met you at the funeral but I'm sure you met tons of Kyle's friends there.

Thank you for adding a memorial for Kyle. I found it when I went to add it myself. I am Kyle's cousin, Edwin. Could you possibly make one change? You listed Kyle's nephew Shaun, but the Find A Grave memorial you listed is incorrect. That memorial is for a foster baby that Kyle's parents took care of. They buried him in their lot when the birth parents failed to claim him. The memorial for Kyle's nephew is # 81037976. It is one that I added back in 2011. Again, thanks so much.

Thank you very much for your info which clarifies her entire name.
You have every right to be proud of your kinsmen/Patriots.
Every year, Memorial Day weekend, I conduct a tour of the Fredericksburg City & Confederate Cemeteries. Almost every time I read the letter near the end of these and always drives home what Lucy and her country felt at that time. Eyes moisten and heads bow...
Ah, I'll try to find the Wilderness burials of Terrell's 2 brothers, assuming they were not sent home.

Hi you sent info on someone I posted, I did not see the grave, I got the info from the Sexton record , the other info was sent to me , but the photo sent must have the dates I have posted ?? otherwise the photo poster would have me do a correction :-).
I am putting your info iunder the bio also :-)

I would like to suggest a couple of changes for Lenora Ticknor. You list her middle name as Younger, however I believe that the name was actually Mounger. Her parents were George Stewart and Augusta Weaver. Augusta Weaver Stewart's mother was Caroline Mounger, thus the middle name.
I have a copy of a letter written by Lenora Ticknor in 1913 to my 2X great-aunt, Mary Jane Mounger Wilson, about her (Lenora's) Mounger ancestry. Mary Jane Mounger Wilson and Lenora Stewart Ticknor were second cousins 1X removed (That would make Mrs Ticknor my third cousin 3X removed).
I would also like to suggest a change to her death date. Her death certificate (available on ancestry.com) lists her d.o.d. as 16 Nov 1932.

Edwin, Thank you for the corrections and additions you suggested for your grand uncle's memorial, and the memorials of others in his family. Please take a look at his memorial (linked below) and the related ones, and let me know if I missed anything.

Hi! Do you know where John Marcus Allen and John R. Allen are buried?

He is descended from Sara Clarke, who was married to Josiah Walton. Their son, William Walton was married to Mary Ann Smith. Their daughter, Frances Lucy Walton was married to Joseph Williams Wilkinson. Their daughter Mary Jewett Wilkinson was married to William Robert Bradley, who are my husband's great-grandparents.
What a tangled web it all is!! I have been doing my family genealogy since I was 21 years old (now 68), so have gone back many generations on all sides. Of course, the internet has been an enormous help and font of information (understatement) to us genealogists! The best thing is, that the internet has confirmed and enhanced much of the information that many of us spent years researching!!
Merry Christmas and Happy Ancestoring!

Yes, He is my husband's ancestor. And are you the Edwin Duke who grew up in south Tampa in the 40's & 50's? I went to school with an Eddie Duke.
I believe I got them all transferred. Let me know if I skipped any. I remember now I helped someone research this line and added the info from the data I found.
In Decatur County Georgia and the area, I research the Bass, Parker, Cox, Copeland, White, etc. Please keep me in mind.
Also, since you are sort of new to Find A Grave. You can delete those ugly cemetery pictures. On the memorial it will say, "Remove Cemetery Photo's". This removes on those photo's that are on the main page for the cemetery. Not any added by us. I so dislike those and especially the ones that look like business signs. I prefer an overview of the cemetery. Something that is peaceful, not, commercial.
Merry Christmas to you and yours,

I believe I added this info from a transcription. I did not personally survey this cemetery. However, I felt Decatur Co GA was so far behind on Find A Grave I started posting a few I had.
I will correct the dates. Although they are difficult to read.
