I am an Endicott on both my mother's side and my father's side, so I am particularly interested in the Endicott line. My other lineage includes many Hons and Clevelands, from in and around southern Illinois and Indiana, though it does seem that these two branches had many persons who lit out for Arkansas, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico and California. That pioneer stock were adventurous souls!|
I occasionally locate and photograph other headstones in cemeteries in White County, Illinois, and try to accommodate photo requests if possible. I also enjoy linking parents and children whenever I can.
I am happy to transfer any memorial to closer relatives at any time. You are free to use any photographs I have posted on the memorials, but please give credit. Thanks!

Hello...Are you sure about the Cecil York edits? I thought Cecil was a man...you have a middle name as Fern and a maiden name. Confused..

Thanks so much. I had no idea about the White County groups. You have significantly expanded my searches!

Thanks so much for posting what you did about John Fleming. He is my second great grandfather. I had been to Scotland and came up empty and intensely looked at Ancestry.com for info. I was at a dead end until I got to your posting on Find A Grave that talked about his uncle, William Prentice. I was able to trace him back to the Scottish census of 1851. It was a HUGE breakthrough and a long time coming and I have you to thank for it. Do you know how you acquired this knowledge or have any additional information? I am related to all the Funkhouser family on my maternal grandmother's side. There were a bunch of them in Carmi, Burnt Prairie and White County coming from Kentucky with Daniel Boone's brother, John Boone. Thanks so much. I'm extremely excited that you found this info. Kristin

I added my pic to your memorial and I will take mine down.

Thanks for the updated cemetery information, I changed their memorials.
|Cyndie||RE: Jimmy Dale Stokes|
I went ahead and transferred them both to you. I would rather a relative no matter how distant have them then a stranger.

|Cyndie||RE: Virgil Stokes|
I added Susie Stokes which according to Ancestry.com was Virgil's wife. Then there was a child born in 1939 and died in 1944 named Jimmy Dale Stokes.
Those two were next to each other and I came across them first which was a good thing. Virgil's was 2 rows over and I might have overlooked it since it's so hard to read. Yet knowing there were other Stokes in the area I spread out my search area a little more.
If you would like these two I will be glad to transfer them to you.

You are welcome. There were two other Stokes that were next two him. So far I have not been able to find memorials for them so I will create a couple.

Sorry about the dup. I added the pic to your memorial. I will be in White County next week and may have some time to grave hunt. Let me know if I can try to find someone for you.

Thank you for offering to look for the graves of my gg grandparents. The work you and others have done on Find-A-Grave is so valuable. Reid McCallister
