Weldon I have left a message with his sister on her Facebook. I do not know the family. I just took the picture of his marker when I was there visiting one day. Hopefully she will get my message and know what to do. Thanks for contacting me. Debbie
Hey - I saw the memorial you established for Deloris Burns (99488428).
I was ssearching for a Hazel Burns in my lineage...and, found a memorial for Hazel Burns (39296382). The memorial had her date of passing, but was missing her birth date.
I found her birth date and found that her middle name was "Deloris"!
I went ahead and asked for an Edit on memorial # 39296382 through the Edit tab....and, thought I might get lucky enough to look in the Paris area and see if I could find where Hazel was buried to complete the other memorial.
While I researched the Paris Area Cemeteries, I came across your memorial for Deloris Burns: ====================================== Deloris Burns Birth: Sep. 8, 1954 Death: Jul. 7, 2009
Burial: Fairland Cemetery - Paris, Lamar County, Texas, USA
Created by: Mary Hall Ferguson Record added: Oct 23, 2012 Find A Grave Memorial# 99488428 ====================================== These two memorials are the same person. The other memorial was established before your memorial, but does not reference the burial place of this person.
Just thought I'd let you know!
Thanks for all you do: REALLY! It does help those of us researching...and, it's so wonderful to have memorials for those who have "gone home".
Willett 40783292 Parents William and Rebecca Thomson Willett, he md. Martha J. Mitchell 11 March 1816 in Cumberland, N.C. USA Thanks Luteen Carroll. P.S. They have a picture in this family info: if you would like to add pictures to grave memorial.
Billy R. Richardson (1923-1944) Red Hill Cemetery Thank you for sharing this headstone photograph of Tec5 Richardson. He was one of several young American soldiers who were killed during the Liberation of Rambouillet, France, during the month of August 1944. The soldiers who died were originally buried by the villagers of Rambouillet, and after the war the bodies were returned to their families in the United States. In grateful remembrance, Miss Francoise Winieska wrote a book in both French and English to tell the story of these heroes of the 7th Armored Division, of which Tec5 Richardson was a part. Thanks again for sharing this picture and making his record more complete....
