The link to his Mother has been added.
you made some suggestion on
Mary (1736-1789) Find A Grave Memorial# 81675731 & Joseph Find A Grave Memorial# 116784649 .
I see Joseph is married to Mary Moore-Crain Her DOB 1744 DOD 4-18-1789 . If you look closely @ mary marker you can see she is age 53 which match the 1736 DOB. I also don't think Joseph would marriage some one younger.
i see Ancestry.com has joseph in Old Hanover
but the book of Old Hanover does not have him that I can find.
(pg 39-40) This is a great book.
Also the marker on the fount of the Cemetery did not list him.
Do you still think Mary is Joseph Wife ????
Thank you for your research in to this.

Sure—I actually took several photographs but didnt' realize the contributor toolset only let me upload 1 and then it was as if it took away my ability to access the request. If you'd like to send me a personal email address, I'd be happy to send you the other photographs I took. I believe you can access my email address on my contributor page.
I plan to photograph your request tomorrow, body permitting. I have spent the last 3 days in hospital with blood pressure out of specs.

When I created the Spivey - Draper cemetery in Northampton Co., NC I indicated that none of the slabs were readable, all flat cement slabs. And I did not take pictures of each individual grave as soil and debris covered most of them. I only took pics of the area.
I further indicated on Josiah Spivey's Memorial page that this was the most likely place of his burial as the land where the cemetery is located was his land prior to his son John William Spivey (my great great grandfather) inheriting it through Josiah's will.
Josiah's will was written 15 Dec 1875 and was probated 20 May 1878.
Are you descended from Josiah? If so, please share your connection with me through my email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
