Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have an avid interest in genealogy and local history. I try to keep a running account of Perry County, Pa. obituaries for the local record. Anyone wanting a transfer of an obit just let me know and supply your member number.

If you're wondering who is leaving missing dates like Date Of Births it's me. It's fun going back to a page with a bunch of missing dates and finding them all filled. And Yes your welcome.

Postscript;(Cremated Memorials) as you can see from just under my name I've been a contributor to find a grave for almost 8 years and I've just discovered how to research memorials where a cemetery is not mentioned or the remains were cremated but no location given. If you think there is a possibility your loved one or other interest might be cremated, just put as much of the name, at least the first and last, on the search page as well as the date of death or date of birth. With that you will get all the memorials with that full name. Then you can pick the Memorial for your subject. Since I found this out have started adding memorials without a proper cemetery.
This also goes for memorials were the person passed away in one state and is buried in another. Just submit the full name and the year of birth or death and then click on search.

RE: Jane Wox
Thank you again, Bill. I have a partial transcript of Jennie's obituary and would love to see a copy of the original if/when you have time to look for it. From what I've found, Jennie was an interesting person, busy in the community, it seems and well loved.

I'm glad to know that they are all in the same place. This is some great detective work you have been doing - and I'm most grateful for your help!

Bill, I'm sorry my response took so long - i've been out of town for the last 9 days. It is good to know for sure where Jane is buried. I've run into a few people in my family who have not had stones, and I'm in the process of having stones placed for my great great grandparents who I recently found were buried in a cemetery here in Kansas City. It's a historical cemetery and the group who maintains it has offered me a reduced price to place stones for them. I'm glad they will finally be marked.

Bill - thank you so much for all the hard work you did on this. Findagrave - and genealogy has helped me to meet some of the nicest, most helpful people in the world - and you are one of them.

Thank you so much!
Laura

Hello Bill
I added them to the cemetery. That makes it easier. I don't like to unless I actually see the tombstone but I am going to trust the State records!

Ha! I should have said Midway instead then. We live on same street, cati-cornered. In fact, old
Midway building is two doors down from my house. My husband is a life member over there but doesn't run calls anymore. :)

RE: Keeping up with the Joneses
Hello Bill
They are not listed on findagrave. I have their death certificates so I am sure they are buried there. If you want I can put a request under someone else's name??

RE: The Dupuys
Hi, Bill. The family is out at Indiantown Gap today burying Theresa'a ashes. My girlfriend Kathy is the daughter-in-law of Theresa and her executor. I will try to get the plot # info from her. She is very organized and probably has the information and/or the papers that pertain to the lot #/buried specs. No, we don't know each other; have just corresponded previously a little bit. We all live on Manor Avenue, Enola, up the hill from the Whistle Stop on Route 15. I think you are in Perry County somewhere?

Thank you Bill! If any further information comes your way I hope you'll share it with me! Until then, the mystery continues - but I do appreciate the time you took corresponding with me!

Hello
I am looking for Harriet and Irvin Jones buried at the Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Perry County. She died in 1926 and he died in 1935.
Thanks
Ann
