Feister Family
My husband is also a descendant of Godfrey & Mary. He is descended from Henry & Margaret (Shipman) Feister, then Aaron & Hannah Feister Johnson, then Levi Feister Johnson and his wife Dora (Biggs) Johnson, then Robert Clyde Johnson and his wife Edith (Garwood) Johnson, then John Edmund Jarvis and his wife Shirley (Johnson) Jarvis. It was good to find this memorial today!

Barrett Line!
Hello! My name is Lila and my grandparents were Martha Dickston Barrett and William Barrett and we are related to Col James Barrett. I have a huge gap in our family tree between James Barrett and my great-grandfather Richard Barrett, father of William. If you could help at all it would be fantastic to fill me in. I'm a newbie at this but it's all so fascinating! my email is lilabellas@gmail.com

Thomas Barrett line
Dear Mr. Barrett,

A cousin recently sent me a link to your Find-A-Grave information of Thomas Barrett (1609-1688). That same cousin has done a Barrett DNA test which points us in the direction of Thomas Barrett. A researcher that he hired came up with a pathway leading to Thomas Barrett. However, she did not provide any documentation for her work so I remain skeptical. I would certainly appreciate your help in trying to further my Barrett research.

What I have is posted in a Rootsweb WorldConnect file at:

http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=SHOW&db=barrettfamily

It does include the researcher's path to Thomas Barrett even though I have reservations about it.

Here is what I am sure of:
My great-grandfather was Arthur Campbell Barrett (1856-1943).
His parents were Abby (Ball) & Moses Barrett (1820-1858).
His grandparents were Sarah (Hill) & Moses Barrett (ca. 1784-1846).

The death certificate of Moses Barrett, Sr. (ca. 1784-1846) states that his parents were Rebecca (no maiden name stated) & Reuben Barrett.

The researcher believes that this Reuben Barrett is the Reuben Barrett that is the son of Sarah (Fletcher) & Reuben Barrett, but I am not yet convinced.

Any help or insight that you could give would be greatly appreciated.
