Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born and raised in Cortland, Trumbull Co., Ohio to my wonderful parents, Lawrence Ralph Stiles and Bonnie Annalee McIe.

I attended West Virgina University in Morgantown, WV (where my parents were both born) and graduate school at UMASS,Boston, while living in Somerville, MA (with a brief stay in Nashua, NH.) In 2001, I moved to New Port Richey, FL where the thought of shoveling snow makes me smile, realizing that it is just a memory!

I took on my mother's labor of love in researching family after she passed away in 1999. I fondly remember sitting at my grandmother's kitchen table listening to family stories while my mother, grandmother, and great grandmother sat drinking their coffee. I realize now that I should have paid better attention. How often does someone get to sit and be part of a four generation conversation!

If there is any way that I can help other people in the research of their family, please don't hesitate to contact me. I know what it is like to "dig" around in cemeteries with the hope of finding that long-lost relative.

May God bless you all as He has me by allowing me to relive all my wonderful childhood memories.

Bishop family
Hi Sheila,

I am going out on a limb here to ask you a few questions regarding your "Grant Bishop"... My grandmother is DORA BISHOP BROWNING.. We have been looking for over 30 years for her parents and have found absolutely no solid info. Her birth certificate list her parents as Toler/Blankenship. Upon researching the 1870, 1880 Census (Wyoming Co WV) I did not find her, however the Toler family listed a Grant Biship as a boarder.. My Dora was also listed in the 1880 Census with a Ferguson family that ran the county poorhouse. Do you think there could be a link between the Bishop/Toler/Blankenship families and your Grant and my Dora? Please email me.. My sister has done most of this research but now as a team, my mother, me and another sister are determined to find our roots. Thank you so much for your time.

Mackey
I just realized that there were two Corel Mackey's that you were requesting, so I made the changes to both you had in your message.

I noticed you said Mackeys were your family. If you would like a transfer of Mackeys in Vienna, just let me know! :)

Corel Mackey - Vienna Cem
Hi Sheila:

Could you please verify the DOB for Corel Mackey You sent me a SAC for him & i'm not sure which is the correct one.

It appears to be either 7 Mar 1847 or 3 May 1837. If you could clarify that would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Joel

RE: Bennett Cemetery
The Perrine's actually married in and divorced themselves from my family..lol. But when I run into roadblocks in my tree, I branch out from the exsisting people, thus the Perrines. My tree is the Plank/Miller tree over on ancestry.
