I'm Jim Kelly. I'm a retired educator living in Price Hill on the west side of Cincinnati. I got started with Find A Grave in working on my grandparents' cemetery at St. John's Catholic Church in Dividing Ridge, Pendleton County, Kentucky.
I'm willing to take pictures if asked.
I try to be as accurate as possible. I am human and sometimes make mistakes. If you find a mistake please, please let me know. I will gladly correct it asap. |Librarian||RE: Sorry - I asked that improperly|
I considered not answering you, but reconsidered. I am working on a huge family tree that includes my husband's side of the family. Having the headstones to help document is very important for my research. This online service is a godsend for searches. Some sites provide copies of newspaper obituaries I haven't found before while some sites provide portraits.
While I have numerous requests for extended family headstone photos I feel I still contribute to Findagrave.com by sending in numbers of edits and cross-references for family members reflecting my documented research. In addition, I am slowly adding some newspaper obituaries from old newspapers, and pictures of my family and my husband's family for others to discover and enjoy.

Hello I got an edit from you and it stated that it was a duplicate. I usually check the cemetery before adding my memorials. When I looked at the memorial and the Holyhood cemetery I did NOT find a duplicate. it is mem # 145975428

No problem, Jim. Let me know if I have any memorials of your other relatives.

Nice picture. Thanks James... Michael
|JBCurtin||RE: Are you related to the Buddeke|
I think I am. My maternal great-great grandfather is John Herman Buddeke who immigrated from Germany about the same time as John Henry. They both married women with the surname of Rattermann. John Herman settled in Nashville and John Henry in Cincinnati. I have been researching John Henry's family trying to find documentation that links them to mine. I have not found anything yet.
I would be honored if you transferred John Henry's memorial to my care, but that is totally up to you.
Thank you for contacting me.

Thanks for the offer, but none of the people I submitted edits for are related to me. I was going through some old obits and checking each one to see if they had been added to Find a Grave. A lot of them hadn't been added, so those I have been adding. The ones that had been added, but were missing some info or had additional info I submitted edits for those.
|N J Penny||You're welcome!|
I'm just a fellow contributor and happened to stumble upon the obit. Thanks!
