Bio and Links
Bio Photo Photography and genealogy are two of my favorite hobbies which makes helping out with Find A Grave a very enjoyable combination.

The smaller country cemeteries are where you'll find me exploring, along with my husband and son. They are the most interesting and you can really learn a lot about the history of your area.

Any pictures I contribute to Find A Grave can be downloaded and used on Ancestry.com or other family tree websites. However, please don't download one of my photos, crop it and then upload it to Find a Grave as one of your own unless you have asked my permission first. This is expressly prohibited as per the Find A Grave guideline below.

"I feel I can enhance other people's photos through photoshopping techniques. Should I do so?
With the technology available today one certainly has the ability to alter and change any picture they come across on Findagrave. However, even though you might think the altered finished product is better than what was originally submitted, one has to assume that what has been contributed to Findagrave is satisfactory to the original submitter. Unless you have express permission to do so, do not in any way alter existing photos of any kind and resubmit them onto the website. Doing so is expressly prohibited."

Transfers will be done according to Find A Grave Guidelines. Please read before requesting a transfer. Also don't hesitate to let me know if you find an error on any of my pages...I will gladly correct it.

Thank you,
Kim

Kim, the links to her parents were sent by someone else. I do know that Joycelynn was her mother though according to her obituary. The father's link has been removed.

I'm sending the connections for this family because you have about half the memorials with Another researcher the other half. Edna Viola Brisco was my mother's half sister so the data is accurate. Thanks for all your work for Find A Grave Bill Varner

William MEYER
Thank you for the excellent photo of William MEYER's monument. I visited Smoothing Iron about 18 years ago and tried my best to get the lettering on the monument to show up for photos. None of them were successful. I even tried waiting until the sunlight was at an angle to shadow the letters, but not successful either. I even tried tracing the letters onto a large piece of paper and the side of a pencil, but no luck there. Your photography is the only time I have been able to read the letters. So, again, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

I have many MEYER/BUDEWIG ancestors in Smoothing Iron. I appreciate your allowing me to down load their monument photos.

Best regards,
Pahl Meyers
Great grandson of William MEYER.

Connect
You may want to connect Christine Michel Hirsch to her mother, Caroline Juergen Bolte. See Caroline's Memorial # 109755142.

You may want to add her maiden name, Michel, to her memorial page.

Caroline Juergen was first married to George Michel. Caroline's 2nd husband was Karl Bolte. This is the reason Caroline's memorial page reads Caroline Juergen Bolte.

Caroline is great, great grandmother to my husband, Maurice Michel. I have his father and mother's memorials.

I have seen a couple pictures that you took of members of my family. I am throughly confused by one! Wihelmine Josephine Ehler. Her Headstone is next to a "Steinberg" family stone? I have an Ehler that married a Steinberg but am having a hard time figuring out which one. I wondered if you have anyone else near her that I could use to match this up. I think Fritz could have been her husband but they don't appear to have Headstones together, unless that Steinberg Stone is right in between those two? I believe Ludwig to be their son and noticed you also took that picture
