May I copy and credit your Rice Cemetery photo seen in Find A Grave Memorial# 163628474 to my family tree in ancestry.com?
|Patti Farley||Death date for Wm H. Persing|
Something is not quite right with Memorial# 13404356--William H Persing. The date of death on the stone is February 13, 1853, but the memorial page says Jan. 18, 1881. Sorry I haven't worked out the details yet--maybe it's the wrong photo? There is a second memorial -- # 52828523 -- created by another member for Wm. Persing with a photo of the same stone with the February death date but completely different spouse, etc. Can you double check this? Thank you!
Thanks much for the photo of Jane's marker. It is much appreciated. Have a great memorial day.

I saw your picture of Union Center Cemetery. I am looking for pictures and/or information about Oliver and Arvilla Trowbridge and wonder if they are in your family genealogy?
|Patsy Scheer||Rebecca Martin Kinzie|
At one time I saw a photocopy of my 3rd great grandmother's grave at Rice Cemetery. I also had a person email me that he ran past the Kinzie stone everyday and he actually thought her husband William Kinzie was buried there. The stone has an inscription that she was the consort of William Kinzie. I beleive the date of her death was 1842. Somewhere there has to be records of her burial at the Rice cemetery. I am thinking she had been moved from another place of burial before coming to Rice Cemetery. William Kinzie is buried in Nebraska, in an unmarked grave at a small country cemetery, not far from where he lived with his son James. The early burial records were destroyed by fire. Can anyone find the plot. On one webiste, it mentioned #195 for Rebecca and William Kinzie.
Geoff, thank you so much for the pictures of Joab and Milton Pegg. I appreciate this very much.
May God Bless.
