I live in Northern Indiana and am very interested in the Civil War. One of my hobbies is to visit the graves of Indiana Civil War Soldiers. To date, my dad and I have visited over 2,350 cemeteries and have found the grave sites of 42,700 Indiana Soldiers, as well as some 10,230 soldiers from states other than Indiana. We have also located the grave sites of over 1,800 Confederate soldiers buried in the Hoosier state. I am also trying to find the grave sites of all of Indiana's Civil War Colonels. I am also interested in the 8th Indiana Infantry, Company I, and the 12th Indiana Infantry. I am also looking for every Chaplain that served in an Indiana Regiment in the Civil War. If you know of any grave sites you think I may have missed, or have some interesting information, don't hesitate to contact me. I am also working on a book about Indiana's soldiers that died during the Civil War. Any help would be appreciated.
