I love genealogy and walking through cemeteries and finding new cousins! I love Find-A-Grave, what a great tool for finding and sharing new information and sharing our families resting places!|
The surnames that I am studying and researching are Dutton, Gillett, Cramer, Neels, Squires, Love, Turner, Keith, Curless, Townsend, Sergent,Bixby, Seaver,Davis, Dodd, Clifton, Smith, Mahoney, Perry, Peoples, Bachman, Lovinger, Rainey, Sanders, Wood, Freeman, Upton, VanDeren, Waley, Blankenbeckler, Fry, Kimball, Baker, Peirce, Fellers, Curless, Heathman, Brace, Boren, Bumpus,Phink.
I welcome the adventure of family and ancestry, I look forward to communicating with undiscovered cousins!!
I am happy to add to pages with the proper documentation. But please don't order me to change a page, I first need time to verify the information given while I am doing my current bits of genealogy. (Plus, sugar will get you more than lemons. My Grandma taught me that!)
Thank you, and Best wishes in your genealogical searches!!!

|Farm Girl from MO.||RE: Clara Eathel Clifton Davis|
I understand now. I thought there must be a reason Clara's parents were not linked to each other. No need to go into details. Thanks for responding. Have a nice day, Farm Girl from MO.

Thank you for adding a photo of my Grandma and Grandpa's headstone! The last time I had seen the stone was the day they buried Grandma and the dates were not on the stone at that time.

Thanks for the Jennings/Sanders links you made so promptly. Good job!!
|Pam Witherow||RE: Horace Upton|
Thank you! I will await your findings--very patiently!!

There are no photos here of any monuments so I am wondering if it's on private property?

|Vickye Blatherwick||Common Surnames|
Oh, you have asked a question that I wish I had an answer for.
I have four Smith lines, and have been documenting three of them for many years,
I was fortunate to find one line through Bible Records. The pages were actually torn out of the Family Bible and sent to the Civil War Pension office when one wife was trying to prove her marriage and children. I stumbled upon this when I actually had the file in my hands in the National Archives. Had I not found those records (include 12 children), my family record would have never been "correct". I also find some help when a family member marries into another surname that is not so common....look for those tips.
Then there is the problem of the "wandering" family....children born in many different states.
I've had to deal with that, too.
